"Listen to me carefully! Just one more night, hold all your hunger! Tomorrow, I promise you. I will make it an unforgettable night for you. Do you understand?" Jennifer asked.
Jayden happily nodded his head like a child who was promised that he would be taken to an adventure park tomorrow if he behaved obediently today.
"Good boy," she played with his hair for some time and then climbed down from him.
She laid on the bed next to him and tried to sleep. Jayden dozed off in a few minutes while hugging her tightly. But she stayed awake for more than an hour. In the process of trying to cajole this kid to sleep, she lost her entryway to the dreamland that night.
When they woke up, it was way past the time they had planned to leave for the funeral home. So they hurriedly freshened up and rushed towards the place.
"It's all because of you. If you did not disturb me the whole night, I would have not overslept." Jennifer complained.
