"Here you go, I have packed breakfast as well along with the dessert." Leah handed the box to Jennifer.
"We are not going anywhere. My brother is feeling alright now and I have something to discuss with Jim over here," Aiden declared.
Jennifer could not believe how he could be so stubborn. Leah blinked her eyes as she could not understand what was actually going on.
'Didn't they say his brother was not well. How could he suddenly become alright? Moreover, what does he want to discuss with Jim?' Leah thought.
Before she could ask anything, Jennifer asked,
"Leah, is it ok if I make a phone call?"
"Sure, go ahead."
Once Leah gave her permission, she walked towards the landline and dialed her phone number. But it rang for a long time and no one picked it up. Jayden had left the mobile in the car before going inside the lodge. So the phone kept on ringing and no one was there to attend the call.
