"Cassie! Cassie! Are you awake?" Elina tried to wake her but Cassie just rolled once on the bed and covered her head with the blanket.
Elina got down from the bed and hesitatingly lifted her hand to knock on the door where Aiden was. But after shilly-shallying for quite some time, she finally decided to go back to her bed.
At that moment, Aiden opened the door and walked out, knocking Elina on his way out. Before she could fall down, he held her waist and supported her.
"Why are you not sleeping yet?" Aiden asked.
Seeing Aiden talking to her in a normal way, she thought she was in a dream. She lifted her hand and caressed his face. As he did not shave his beard for the last three days, his newly grown whiskers poked her soft palm and tickled.
"You still did not answer me, why are you still awake?" Aiden asked once again.
"I am hungry," Elina lowered her head and whispered with a very low voice.
