The world's other side. Time and time again, across the countless ages were the somewhat solid belief of life beyond earth. Perhaps it was a coping mechanism of men who were afraid of what was to come, assuaging their fears by speaking of after life, rebirth, heaven and hell.
Numerous things that were unexplainable by science were still held on with deep conviction—for fear and faith will allow one to believe and trust.
And there wasn't anything wrong with that.
Each one could live as they wished.
But to others, they do not wish for anything more beyond what they see. What they see is what they believe. The suffering they experience here and now was to be finished at the end of one's journey. And so whether or not that there was after life, next life, rebirth, reincarnation, another world—it would be better for them to focus on what they could see before their own eyes.
Perhaps Chan Lee was more on the latter.
