It was now a Wednesday and another day in her life. It was exactly three days since she returned from the island and her life was now back to 'normal' in the truest sense. Or perhaps it was 'normal' on the surface level—she shook her head when she got out of bed. It was much better to stay rooted in this moment and not let her thoughts drift away.
Today would be a good day.
Chan Lee would arrive in her first class and take a seat at her usual spot and not even look back at any of the people seated in the back. She paid attention to the lessons and jotted down notes, there was no hesitation in each of her actions and steps. And before she knew it, she was heading back to work.
Taking the familiar route along the corridor to reach the university's gates; she was doing well. If she kept to herself and her usual route with minimal interactions, she could survive—get through the day and that was actually great.
Except there was someone who followed after her.
