Chan Lee sighed as she picked up her tray of lunch as she looked around the cafeteria. It was a sea of students all gathered up from across differing colleges in the university, the engineering students, the science folks, humanities and arts, business and other ones.
She probably should have opted to prepare lunch beforehand at home but she lost the time and now she was faced with the most troublesome question…
Where would she seat?
The young woman surveyed the area around her, she coud hear her heart thumping loudly in her chest. She hated this moment of standing around in front of a huge crowd—it felt like all their eyes were on her although that was false. Each one was more enraptured with their own selves. Chan Lee's gaze fell on three familiar figures. She could that see Mei, Suyin and Gen together in one table more in the back rows, not capturing any attention. It had also been the same place where Mei had led her when she introduced them.
