Maddie helped Colby get ready while getting a text from The Lord saying he was to return to hold a meeting with the household tommorow. Maddie texted back that things will be ready and helped Colby with a few things. Colby groaned "You should have been quicker on waking me up" she nodded with a bow before looking at the time. "Colby let's not fight it's time to get going" He rolled his eyes and they made there way to the black van with Windows so black you can only see out of them. Maddie who liked being alone back home was now surrounding by Leo and someone she was told to call Master. Maddie refused it though she would treat them as family if she were to help them.
When they arrived at the meeting place a building for vampire councilmen Maddie was very shy. Leo got out before anyone and went inside. Colby got out and helped Maddie out, he wasn't going to hide that he admired that she wasn't scared unlike other humans she was brave. Maddie allowed him to help and began following behind Colby unsure why she was too come right now. She had studies she just remembered about something important to them but yet they insisted for her to come. She stood behind the household she represents Leo and Colby was infront of her. The meeting started with the High King standing on the middle of the room about to speak.
He spoke very highly "Welcome households of the many kingdoms we role and protect. There is a very horrible matter killing our kind. We have a special human on our side now who is very smart with these things. Miss Evans will you come stand by me." Maddie was confused before Colby stood up and walked with her to his side. "Miss Evans will be studying the many things happening, if you discover anything please send the matter to Colby's Household in which his father will be handing to him this week." everyone stood there in shock. Soon It was time for everyone to leave. Maddie was too follow Colby to there van. Maddie knew now what tomorrow's meeting is about she was very confused but can't wait to see what happens.
