She didn't say much at the dinner table, as per normal. If she said too much or too little, she might get grilled with "what happened" questions. Mentally kicking herself for not asking for his number, she checked her phone for free times to visit the park again. After dinner, Samuel begged her to play Uno. Of course she absolutely murdered him on it and thus he left her alone for the rest of the evening.
Safely in her room, she broke out her drawing pad to try design an idea for a new carving. The wood she worked on yesterday was no good after nervously chipping at it. Thankfully she had found some aged driftwood yesterday as well with hardly any knots. She settled on creating a dish and adding a criss cross band to the rim. She absently wondered if Theo carved wood too. His hands were firm but gentle when he handed her knife back.
Picking up her phone, she debated on texting her friend Kirsten about him. She decided against it and tossed her phone on her bed. Although Kirsten wouldn't tease her, she wasn't ready to tell anyone yet. After all, she only met him today. She still decided to text her friend about everything but Theo.
