"Hello, my name is Zero Shunsou. I'm from Japan. I don't know how long I have on this as I want to save the battery life" I said as I was setting my camera on my phone "I need your help. I've just escaped from Akari's Lab of Research of the brain. I've spent most of my childhood in that Hell hole-"
The place that I was staying momentarily was a warehouse next to a cafe. I hadn't had social interaction. But I knew talking would help. Which is why someone gave me their phone. I was a mess. Underweight, small and hardly had any clothes that fit me. I was lucky to meet such kind people. They gave me food. Some clothes from a charity shop. And a little bit of money. Before you assume, no I didn't beg. An elderly couple had gave me some money and then everyone else started to help me.
The only thing I didn't have was water. So I was really dehydrated and started going slightly crazy, hearing things that weren't real. As I was making this video, the police entered the building. I was obviously startled by them. I got flashbacks from when I was in the lab.
The lab was quite scary. We were tested on a lot. Akari was messed up. He did quite a lot of experiments. Sometimes, killing the test subjects. For some reason he wanted me alive. And only me alive. He was always careful with my experiments. Maybe I was really powerful? Or had more potential? The lab always smelled of blood and rotten flesh.
The police came into the room that I was in. A police officer started walking towards me. My heart was pounding very violently in my chest. My breathing got really heavy. He realised that I was panicking and placed the gun down on the ground. I had my hands in the air.
"You shouldn't be here, kid" he said, still walking towards me. "How old are you?" he asked. I didn't answer as I didn't know how old I was. "How long have you been in here?" he asked.
"52 days" I answered, quietly.
"4 months?" he said. "Do you have a home? Someone to take care of you?" He asked.
"No, sir" I responded, quietly.
One of the other police officers talked to someone on their walkie-talkie. I looked at the officer, that moved, with no emotion.
"What's your name, kid?" The kind police officer asked.
"Zero" I replied.
That's what Akari called me. We were numbers to him. He kept his favourites upstairs, kept the bodies in the basement. And had the normal patients on the other floors. That was so the police didn't find out about him doing experiments on kids.
"Zero?" He repeated. "Where have you come from, kid?" He asked. I stayed silent. I started shaking again. This time I tried my best to not show that I was shaking.
The police officer then picked his gun up and put it in his back pocket.
"Okay kid, we're going to take you to a place where you'll have food, shelter and you'll be safe" he said, getting closer.
"I'll never be safe" I said, backing away from him.
There was a huge hole in the floor and I was slowly getting closer to the hole. If I fall. I'm dead, I thought.
"At this place you will" he reassured me. Still getting closer, slower this time. "I assure you" he was still getting closer and I was getting closer to the edge. "Look at me, kid" he said, I slowly looked up at him. "You will be safe, just come away from the edge" I slowly stepped forward, slightly. "Okay now again" I did as he asked. The police officer kept to his word and brought me to a safe place.
