steve went to the nearby hotel and took a bath after changing into neat set of clothes he returned to the hospital.
when he returned harry and harvey were talking to mark , they were enquiring about lyra's condition.
when harvey saw steve coming she just turned her head and sat on the bench.
steve knew his mother was upset ,whenever she was angry she would not speak with him.so he went near his mother and said " i know you are upset with me , i know it was all because of me,it was my mistake , and i am sorry for that".
steve really had a high attitude , so he would never accept he was wrong instead he would prove that he is right, it was first time for peter and mark hearing the words ,my mistake ,all because of me, sorry , they were truly shocked , mark even asked peter to pinch him only when he felt the pain he felt it was all real and was not dreaming.
harvey knew steve was seriously asking for forgiveness so she turned to him and said " steve i know you don't know anything about woman but i wanted you to get married because i wanted you to change , i also know it is all new to you , but now you know what happens when you don't remember your responsibilities, and it is no use to ask me for forgive you ,you should make lyra forgive you , and don't do it out of your guilt think about it with your heart , on what you should do"
" yes mom i understand , i am your son i am not going to disappoint you" steve said.
after chatting with his mom for a while steve went to his father who was waiting for the mother and son conversation to be over.
" dad said me you are getting holidays?"harry asked.
" he wanted me to take some time for myself and also to improve my abilities as a husband , but if you want i will be in the office anytime" steve said
" my dear son i am your father and you received everything now what i handled in the past so don't look down on your own father" harry said.
steve didn't say anything, both father and son looked at the beautiful view of the city full of lights.
