when they reached marks cabin all of them sat down on the sofa while steve really brought some snacks to eat and offered to steve but after seeing steve's expression he had it himself.
mark had a projector in his room so steve connected his laptop to it and said
" i was not in c city last week you all know that , but someone came to my house knowing that i was not there , but they didn't come for me they came to greet my wife . they greeted her so well that she ended up here. they thought if they can bribe my maids the truth doesn't come out but they missed one point that is my house has cameras hidden all over"while steve was speaking lyra suddenly released the glass in her hand , which liam gave her after settling down.
steve smiled and said " no problem just wait a little bit more you will be all better , for your convenience i will not explain anything now just watch a short movie i specifically made it for you cutting down all the unnecessary parts, but don't worry i have the original movie with me"
"no no it is all fake i didn't do it , liam don't believe steve he is slandering me i didn't do anything" sophia was scared out of her wits.

sophia thought if lyra is gone steve wouldn't probably wouldn't care , but why did steve's house
