Chapter 60 - Learning The Sequence 2

The magic sequence was formed over the millions of years of research conducted by past Artificers. They realised that there was a special number of runic symbols at any given point in time that warrants better results. The outcomes would be far more impactful, while the overall structure of the artifice is the most stable. This sequence had a pattern whereby each number is the sum of the two preceding ones.

If built on multiple layers, using the correct sequence of numbers, it allows for the artificers to attain more promising results. This highlighted the intellectual difference between the Demonic Beast race and the Human race. The magic sequence allowed for humans to bridge the gap formed by their lack of information. A revelation of some sorts created to propel the human race forward in the Great World.

Wang Li Tian finally gotten a better understanding of what his teacher was saying after he explained to him in different contexts. The study of Artificing Analysis is one that allows the cultivator to delve into the in and outs of artificing. When one masters the analytical skills, they would be able to dissect and solve underlying issues in arrays, scrolls and enchantments.

However, wanting to master such a skill is very different from being able to put it to action. Not only does Artificing Analysis require absolute concentration, you require an in-depth understanding on how each runic symbol works. Simply knowing the meanings of each Truth Word was definitely not enough. Even for Wang Li Tian who knows the real meanings of the symbols, he would have to study and research different scrolls under Long Tang Yun to get a better idea of how each runic symbol interacts with another.

"Little Li Tian, the art of Artificing Analysis is by no means easy…" Long Tang Yun had to get that idea into the youth's head, "It may be a sub category in artificing, but very rarely will there be an artificer that masters such art. Even I myself can only be said to scratch the very surface of analytical studies."

"I understand, teacher. I want to try it for myself." Wang Li Tian had a strong resolution in regards to this field. In his gut, there was something telling him that this sub category was the right path for him. If he does not give it a go, it would surely be his misfortune.

"Okay, let us begin then." The prime elder could tell that the boy was not joking around. He coughed lightly before going about his lesson, "We shall now start on the layering of runic symbols."

By nightfall, Wang Li Tian and Xin Shu Yi left Prime Elder Long's residence. The both had been listening to the in-depth studies done by their teacher. Long Tang Yun may be a prime elder that taught Scroll enchantments, but in his free time, he would learn about Artificing analysis. By getting a better understanding of artificing, you are in turn improving your overall skill.

Xin Shu Yi stretched her body as she walked side by side with her junior brother. She asked, "Are you not tired, junior brother?"

"Not really." Wang Li Tian shook his head. The boy would normally head over to Prime Elder Phoenix's cavern to learn about demonic beast language. The routine learning conducted in the boy's life had moulded him into a more studious person. So long as the lesson was not boring or too hard to follow, the boy would be able to go on for hours on end.

"That's good news then! Maybe you can try picking up books to read in your free time!"

"No! No! That is too hard for me!" Indeed, books are the bane of Li Tian's existence.

"Hahaha!"

As they headed down the stone steps, they eventually arrived at the direct disciple dormitory. Outside, there was a familiar chubby figure pacing himself around the courtyard. Big Hu, also known as Hu Bao Zhu was awaiting the arrival of the pair of disciple siblings. When the chubby eighteen year old saw that they had finally come down, he immediately sprinted in front of the two.

"Junior brother Hu, what is the matter? Why do you look so worried?" Perplexed, Xin Shu Yi asked the young cultivator.

"Junior brother.. Li Tian.. Has.." The short ten meter sprint was already enough to knock the wind out of Hu Bao Zhu. His panting continued throughout his message, "A.. Visitor.."

"A visitor?" Wang Li Tian cocked his head.

"Yes.. She is.. The direct disciple from.. the School of Sword Arts, Jiang Rou Xuan."

"Oh! Where is she right now?" In an instant, the only calm looking Li Tian was replaced with an excited expression.

"She is in the dining hall waiting for you." Hu Bao Zhu finally caught his breath as he briefed the youth. As soon as he finished his sentence, Wang Li Tian sprinted into the dormitory building, in search of his big sister.

When the boy was out of sight, Xin Shu Yi asked Big Hu with a curious look on her face, "Who is this Xin Shu Yi?"

"She seems to be a close friend of junior brother? She registered into our academy on the same day as junior brother Li Tian. Maybe they knew each other then?" The two walked into the dormitory after that. As they walked they gossiped amongst themselves.

"Do you think this girl is junior brother's partner?" Xin Shu Yi said inquisitively.

"Hmm.. Considering how junior brother's face lit up with joy, I would say that is very possible."

"Indeed. I have actually never seen my junior brother this happy before."
