"There are reports of missing people circling the whole town and it is rising every hour. It was a month ago that the reports started and till now, it gradually increases. I know I should not tell you this things but as you grow up, I see a great potential and growth in you. If it's not for your appearance I will be mistaken you to be in his teens or early twenties. Son, you are very precious to us and all I want is to keep you two safe. I will not bear to lose both of you."
Father is still painting that serious face. Honestly father is a good man and I'm glad they know my knowledge and capacity to understand things despite my appearance. He could be comical and weird all the time but sometimes I just could not found that father that I have.
"Kal...I am saying this things to you because I know I can't stop you from investigating. You are a very curious child and you don't understand the danger that you might bumped into but please, as I share this things to you, you'll restrain yourself to do things that may harm you. You see, you have us, to wait for you and also worry for you. If it isn't for Clinton, I wouldn't accept this request because I know the danger this would bring. Also, I know you very well you would not stand still."
cough...cough
He caught me there. Yes I can't because this is too much of a coincidence father. It hasn't been a while since I move to my own to search for my brethren.
"Father...I know I have been a pain in the ass and have been keeping you and mother to worry. But can you tell me more? I will behave?" I did my best cute face to root some more informations from my father. He sighs continuously and when he can't plaster that seriousness in his face, he anchors his arm into my tiny frame and squeezes me tight while he rubs his cheeks to mine. Oh gosh, glad I have an easy going father.
"Kal, the association requested for my support for this reports and I accepted it. I have been searching and investigating the woods and been at the near end of the forest. Parts of decaying bodies are all around like it is hiding a track that might lead me to finding out the truth that's why I went there for more further and thorough investigation. In the forest, there is a restricted place that is forbidden to enter for everyone's safety. I just hunched that maybe, somehow, someone disobeyed the rule and went there and my eyes did not betrayed me. At the entrance of the fenced place, more pile of bodies were found and as I gone further, my instinct is telling me to back off and get the hell out of that creepy place. As the name implies, it is impossible for a person to go in there and that's maybe the explanations of those bodies but who might be in their right mind would go in there and meet their ends. That is making my head aches haaa."
Father scratches his head and sighs. Decaying bodies and in pieces? I have a hunch but I don't want to get excited for something that might be empty assumptions.
"Kal...I have talked with Roselia, I'll take with you tomorrow."
I knew it they would not let me near the------WHAT?! For real?
"Am I hearing this right? REALLLLLLY?"
"Don't get hype yet, you need to talk with her first. She is so furious and she doesn't want to talk to me."
A hint of pain is evident in father's voice. I could understand that, mother is overprotective of me. I don't know what father is thinking that he decided to take me with him to the extent that they will have a fight.
"But why did you decided to take me? I mean if it involves massacre and the land forbids everthing that exists, why are you taking me?"
"Because of my instinct."

"TAL!! DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS YOU TWO WILL GET YOURSELF INTO???? YOU TWO NEVER FAILED TO MAKE ME WORRY!"
Droplets of tears fall down her eyes. Roselia can't help but to worry. The forest is not safe and all the missing people went in there are now assumed dead because of the missing parts of bodies that scattered at the forest that Felinn have collected. But then, instead of letting their son to wander alone in the forest, Felinn suggested that he would bring him together with him so that he could protect him and assure his safety. She can't help but to worry because danger is eminent and she can't afford to lose her son.
Tap...tap..tap
Takahiro shorten the gap and hug his mother's thigh because that's only what he can reach because of his short arms and figure. Roselia flinch and covers her mouth as she silently wept, her act of surrender. She patted his son's head and later on hugged him tightly. All she can do now is to pray for the Gods to watch over his son's safety.
"Before you go, here wear this charm. Be safe there my dear son."
She gave her charm to Takahiro and hug him one more time. The boy did not say any word and just hug his mother. He can feel the uneasy feeling her mother is emanating. All he can do is to show her that everything will be fine.

Takahiro is in his room to finally have a rest. It still bothers him. The land of forbidden existence have said to be an abandoned land of God that no longer have the blessings of the heavens. It has nothing in there but just a wide space of pure nothingness. The fences erected around the land projects illusions to the naked eye to make it more noticeable. An illusion of haunted tombs that steaming with gloom and eerie feeling to prevent people from entering the land.
'Why did something like this happened right after my birthday?' Takahiro sighed as he thought that he is the root of this events. As his eyes closes to sleep, an eerie silence welcome his ears that makes him sensitive enough to detect his surroundings. The breeze coming from his window that under the swaying curtains seems restless.
"My lord."
A voice spoke in the pitch black place he found himself in. He ran to where the voice was but he can't seem to find the owner. He found himself awake, cold sweat covering his forehead and the peeking rays of the sun are passing through his window. He never had such a dream in his life. Now he is certain to go to the Land of Forbidden Existence.
"Haa. Let's go giddy up."
