The morning sunlight peeking from the layers of curtains caresses the sleeping figure in his bed. The birds are singing, indicating of a new morning is about to start. Within the comforts of the blankets covering his body, Regulus moved and stretches his arms. He remained in his position as he slowly opened his eyes. How come he is in his room when he is dealing with those lowly creature a little while ago? A loud noise coming from opening the door recklessly and there Hina came rushing to his side.
"UWWAAAAAH YOU FINALLY WOKE UP!!" Driplets of tears started to wet Regulus pajamas while Hina continued to cry. Regulus 's expression got flustered and panicky consoles her younger sister. He still have no idea what happened but his younger sister comes first without a doubt.
"We are glad that you finally woke up Regulus sama." From the door, Grant bowed his head sincerely and greeted the two masters. Such gestures will not fool Regulus's keen sight. A tear escaped Grant's eyes that made Regulus flustered even more.
"Aaaah, come on Hina! Stop crying! I'm still alive you see, no? " And with that he gained a slap from his sister. He was taken by surprise but calmed down after he saw the tearful eyes and redden face of his sister. He can't retort back or make another joke, afterall it was his mistakes.
"Do you know how worried I am that you might leave me all of a sudden?! You have been sleeping for three days and that's not a small matter!! I hate you!!!" Hina stormed out the room with heavy stomps. No one dared to make a sound and Regulus can't seem to react from the sudden outburst too. It was then Lumnus entered the room with breakfast in hand.
"Aniki you are awake already! Here, breakfast!" With gleeful smile, Lumnus slightly raises the tray with toast and butter. Confusion filled Regulus and hopelessly look at Grant who now have composed himself already.
"You went home with bleeding wounds and about to lose conscious. It was then Lumnus san escorted you here and explained the fight you stepped in just to regulate things. The cut in your waist kept bleeding and doesn't seem to close even with every manual medical aid. It take about a day to summon a healer from the capital and that just made you lost a lot of blood that you almost come with the God of death with open arms." Everyone present in the room could see the popping veins in Grant's face while still explaining everything in a calm demeanor. Scary... After explaining, Grant excuses himself for he have a lot of things to settle and also to report at the Princess of the good news. That's left Regulus and Lumnus in total silence. It seems like Lumnus got a lot of explaining to do that he understands from the glares shooting by Regulus to him. He coughed a few times and opened his mouth.
"Are you okay? Did some----"
"What happened?" Regulus didn't let him finish to talk. It was like Akeenu's habit to interrupt the person who's talking. It made the other guy swallowed some lump of dry saliva due to his intimidation which he doesn't even care being found out as a fake.
"After you completely erased his identity from his face, You walked ....no... dash to me and pointed your nails... oh look they seem look normal now! Huh... right. After I have asked you what happened you seem not quite the talker and remain silence. After a long seems like forever, the body of the monster rose up and his arm extended to where we was. I immediately went infront of you but you shove me down resulting the wounds in your waist. I couldn't thank you enough for saving us on that day but I felt guilty that you got involved." Tears fell down on Lumnus face after reminiscing that horror which killed his friends as a compensation to their naivety. But how did he manage to get home? He have lost that memory and he couldn't ask this boy for it. That's when Enri answered all Akeenu's question.
[ I was the one who took over and take you for home for immediate treatment. ]
Regulus felt relieved that Enri could do such thing like emergency mode and save him in time but what really bothers him is that, if he got a wound shallow as this that didn't heal and cause to almost cost to lost his life.
[ It was just a hint but somehow this creatures are enchanted by someone to possessed that cheap stunt. It was like making a trap for you to bite and risk your life. ]
Regulus face hardened and shoots of murderous intent dispersed in the air that made the room cold. It was immediately felt by Lumnus who clumsily shake Regulus's shoulders.
"Stop! Stop! People in this manor was sharp enough to notice. Conceal your anger! They might caught you!!" It was then Regulus reacted quick. His pointy nails with sharp tips aimed at Lumnus neck. It made him froze on the spot. He even called all the Gods he knows..
"How did you know that I'm not Regulus? "
"Because Regulus will never bare his fangs obvious like you. I'm Lumnus Rozenfier. It was nice meeting you." As if there is no fear creeping him, Lumnus plastered a smile with his pounding heart. Regulus retreated his hand and laughs. He laughs for his carelessness that made Lumnus confused from his actions.
"You are interesting. You have witnessed my viciousness and yet you still what? Feeling nice to meet me? Have you lost your mind kid?" Regulus can't find himself to stop from laughing that make his wild heart settled down.
"Oh right. Why you didn't tell them that you had been attacked by a demon? "
"Because that is a taboo in this town. "
Regulus smiling face faded from what Lumnus have said. The long silence made Lumnus to forcibly continues.
"It was just recent that incidents like that one came to light, boldly. Hertis is known to be in good relations with demons and the demon lords but never in it history's records that have written stated that demons have the right to see us as food. It was then that various incidents connected with demons are seen as nothing but crap topics and nothing major issue."
'There is something fishy along this statement. It's still a crime to eat humans whether it is not indicated in the law.' Regulus was drown in thoughts when a huge explosion can be heard. Without a second thought, Regulus jumped from his bed and runs to where the explosion came from. He dashed surpassing any human can do and hid his present. The whole wall in the eastern side of the manor which Hina's room was completely torn off it's frame. Debris scattered everywhere and servants got wounded from the impact. Regulus eyes quickly scanned for Hina and when he finally confirmed that Hina wasn't there, he quickly run off away from the manor. He couldn't afford to lost his sister without even making up with her. He activated his >Mana Search< which is capable to find anyone who possesses mana, either a tool, crystal, being or humans. His skills which can indicate who possesses it and when he got marked the person already, it will show in his display. Regulus jumped in a branch of the tree, not far from the manor. From his footing, a reverberating color of blue expanded and zoom beyond the whole city of Hertis. He can feel each and every people busy to earn a loving or those children that is playing in the market. It even pick up noises of the heart. He patiently search for Hina's pulses but not too long ago after it was activated, the skill forcibly close by something. The vibrating hue of blue shattered in pieces like a sensitive mirror that made Regulus's brows creased up. He are now feeling the grave danger and severity of what they are in. But before he make his action, an eagle squeals for his greeting and landed in Regulus's arms. Within it's legs, a letter was tied in it. He immediately untangled it and reads.
'You are not invited in my domain that's why I made the pleasure to invite your beloved sister for a cup of tea. It would be a pleasure if you would come too.'
Regulus almost tear the paper and gritted his teeth. Within the letter, a tinkling of gold and silver with a round bead of jade being tangled with those minerals, enclosing it to prevent its escape. This belongs to Yvee. He jumps to one tree and another. Regulus thought that being near the manor while summoning his mount is not a good idea and that's when Lumnus almost gave him a heart attack.
"Let me come with you." With flickers of determination, that made Regulus snapped.
"Are you an idiot?! This is not where you can butt in and play hero! This is a serious matter---"
"I know. That's why let me come with you. " Regulus can only sigh in defeat almost didn't notice the two swords coated in silver and gold.
'That's why. Kuhuhuhu! He is a young aspirant to cleanse evil with his swords.'

Regulus did not mind his companion being not be able to catch him up because Lumnus just one foot behind. That's impressive even though he haven't move in full agility, the young boy can actually match his speed. When he notice that it is far enough deep within the forest, Regulus immediately stop that made Lumnus crash on his back. He didn't mind the clumsy actions of the child with a redden nose from the impact and whistled.

Lumnus quietly wait for Regulus to move. He is getting impatient because it has been a few minutes that has been passed. But a few more, the air changes. Its like an exhaust fan that sucks the air giving them a hard time to breathe. Slowly, the surroundings quieten and only Lumnus wild heart only can be heard.

Lumnus can't close his ajar jaw. It was right now is the first time he have ever seen such majestic creature. It scales was complimenting the hue of blue skies and it almost covered the whole Hertis. Lumnus can't believe what his eyes are witnessing and that's being interrupted by Regulus jumping on the 'mount'he summoned.
"Are you sure? A dragon? " Lumnus can't find the exact words to say and that's made the short tempered protagonist irritated.
"I'll leave you if you still don't move!" And that's the signal for Lumnus to move and ride on Regulus back. He can sense the stares of the dragon's slitted red eyes and the intensity of its massive mana that oozing effortlessly from his body. He gulped all he can swallowed and almost jump to where he was seated when it spoke.
"Hey Akeenu, where did you found this weakling? " The voice of it rang like a wild roar that makes his eardrum hurts. He feels like a rat on top of an elephant. That's the difference between their power.
"Just a while ago while leisurely playing. Tyr... Lyvia is in danger. " The irritation in Regulus's voice soften and the dragon, without a signal flaps it wings that almost wiped the trees surrounding them. Blizzard of winds have been made that Lumnus found himself in awe and admiration. When it reaches a certain altitude that made the trees like a dot in a broad canvass, it zoomed and dominated in the air that makes Lumnus grabbed a fistful of Regulus's clothes.
