She stood there above me starring angrily at me with her emerald eyes that burned like a cursed fire.
"Your doing this on purpose."
"What are you even talking about? What about the stuff I said."
"That's what I'm talking about, your intentionally trying to get me mad at you"
"Is that so. What if I wasn't, ill tell you this I'm the person that everyone says I am"
I stood up, at this point and time Vale was in control but I wont let her do as she pleases.
"And what would that be?"
"Haven't you heard I'm the most hated one!"
Vale sighs shaking her head then stared intensely into my eyes.
"Living like that wont get you anywhere."
"Who are you to say how I live my life! I'm not going to live up to some worthless ideals you have of who you think that I am."
Angered, frustrated, I couldn't stand her anymore therefore I stormed off stomping my feet, you could practically see the steam coming from my head.
"You know I'm right you'll see soon enough."
With that Vale Yua left walking the opposite way I had.
A loud bang from the lockers could be heard down the halls as I kick them as hard as I could venting out all of my frustration.
"The day is only halfway and I still need to sit next to her in class!"
I kicked the lockers once more, after what could be called a tantrum that others had to witness only to walk away with a creeped out vibe I decided to head back to class a little earlier.
"Alright class were going to get into pairs with the person next to you for this assignment."
"I refuse!"
I jumped up from my chair as fast as I could with every fiber in my body because that girl the one I despise the most would end up as my partner.
"Sit down!"
Whoa, that was a little uncalled for, Nami Sensei looked generally mad. There are times when you should sit quietly and listen if you know what's best for yourself.
"Heh."
Vale quietly giggled, she was enjoying watching me struggle. I don't want this, this has to be some kind of joke the God's are playing on me.
"Let's get along Tatsuya-Kun."
This woman she was the devil, I have never met someone who made me fear for my life. I had to end this somehow or in some way.
"Listen I don't plan on working with you so do whatever you want."
"is that's so, the way I see it is your going to work with me or else."
In the end I have two choices work with her or suffer the wrath of Nami sensei. I chose the route with less physical pain, therefore ill work with Vale unwillingly.
"So got any hobbies?"
"what?"
"come on I'm just making small talk, don't be so defensive."
What is with this girl, one moment were yelling at each other during lunch and now she's trying to make small talk. I can't read her at all and it's like she knows my every move, kind of like if I came with some instruction manual and she just happened to read it.
"Listen I'm not here for chit chat."
"well isn't it nice to talk though you would feel less lonely."
Now that's a word I haven't heard of in a while. I mean come on can someone truly be lonely even if they don't consider it them selves. True loneliness is for people that has never had interactions with others, as long as you interact with one another here and there you'll never truly be lonely, therefore.
"I'm not lonely."
"really? Do you have any friends?"
"No, I don't need fake relationships."
"what do you mean fake."
How many questions is this girl going to ask? All I want is to finish this assignment in peace and quiet and leave her to herself.
"Friendships are stupid, the second something bad happens or their social status is on the line they'll stab you in the back, that's how humans are, not only that but theyll say things like ill text you later or lets hang but does it ever really happen ."
It was no lie, humans can be dark and ruthless. To survive we'll sacrifice anyone necessary so that we can continue on. This applies to almost everything such as businesses and social standings.
"not every person are like that, there are good ones too you know, you just got to know were to look."
We're going nowhere with this, as long as she is her and I am me we will never see eye to eye.
"just get done, I'm tired of this conversation."
Time passed by and eventually the bell rang dismissing us home. After our short talk Vale seemed to have left me alone, at least she's finally taken a hint. "Cherp" a small noise pierced through my ears coming from the grass beside the sidewalk. My curiosity got the better of me so I decided to take a look. Looking down a small baby bird had seemed to fallen out of its nest.
"Hey little guy."
I smiled as I gently scooped him up, his leg had a cut, he must have gotten it when he fell off.
"Don't worry I'll patch you up."
Taking some bandages out I tear one small enough to rap around its leg. I rub his head slightly with my finger to keep him calm.
"Bear with me alright."
I wrapped the bandage around his leg after cleaning it up and placed him back in the nest. His mother was near by watching my movements, after placing him and stepping back she flew down to check her child and rubbed her head on him which was basically what we call a hug.
"Make sure you watch him."
I turned around to start heading home, but as I turned Vale Yua sat at the bench a few feet away with a smugged look on her face.
"See you are a nice guy after all!"
