birds are chirping a beautiful start to a beautiful day Kira is eating breakfast with her family before setting off to her favorite spot in the woods a young willow tree next to a river time passes as she strokes a bulldear while birds and the like are sitting above her she notices smoke it dawns on her that its coming from the direction of her village she darts in confusion and fear of what it might be she stops at the sight of the once hay huts burnt to the ground leaving only an unknown flags she races towards the pile of ash she once called home her titanium white skin turns gray as she rummages through the dark snow only to find the small lower jaw bone of her baby brother she wails in pain and sorrow til the cinders turn to mush filled with her tears she slumbers from fatigue daybreak comes and goes pups nibble her pointy ears and lick her muddled cheek as her piercing red eyes see the afternoon sun she sits up as it all comes rushing back she tries to cry in vain from the already lost tears and pounding migraine her clenches below her ribs as she feels a rumble she's starved and dehydrated she makes her way to the young willow creatures in tow she quenches her thirst in the crisp clear waters as rowren berries are brought before her by a following creature she takes off the rags that where once a living fauna flowing from the healing springs the river soothes her smoldered soles it draws snow back to her skin and brings her hair from the shadows of the ash as she makes her way back to her village passing the flag then back. on it lies a wingless dragon circling a bouquet of flames on a trees remains ripping the fabric off its pole she brings it along with her as she says her goodbyes to the ruins of her first home she sets off into the woods
