As Timothy Brown stared at Sargent Hues in shock, the man dragged him out of the line for the bus.
"Hey kid! You're coming with me to HQ. Someone's been looking for you." The Sargent spat firmly. "I don't know what you did, but you must've done something. The General of the state himself called for me to get you!"
Suddenly, Hues shoved the boy into the car. Timothy was thrown onto the the seat as the door shut in his face, confused greatly by the situation unfolding before him.
"What did I do?" Timothy thought. "What did I do to deserve this? I'm a straight A student. I never get into trouble with the teachers. What could the General want with me?"
Flustered, he sat in silence for the entire ride. The officer in front of him was tapping, anxiously, on the steering wheel. His mind was turning nonstop. The only logical explanation his brains could think of were facts.
Timothy knew that the needed something from him, that much was certain. But what? Maybe his high test scores were the cause of it? He didn't know.
Soon enough, the car was pulling up to the Military's HQ. It had taken an estimated time of 2 and a half hours to arrive. It honestly could have been longer. He wouldn't know. In all the hustle and bustle at the school, he had dropped his phone. Without it, he couldn't check the time. Either way, he was there now, and there wasn't anything he could do about it.
Just what did the General want with him?
