Zack turned to discuss team members for the mission when Lily went up to him and made a request she had been wanting to ask for the long time " I want to be on the team that take cares of arsenal". Zack turned to her in surprise, yes he had analysed the situation and he also wanted this opportunity to be a bridge of experience for her but a part of him was unwilling for putting her in any kind of risk,may be that was the coward man within him that spoke his thoughts without thinking but still he blurted out " but it is risky, I don't want you to go through it".
In those last few months he had seen many forms of Lily her change happened from timid Meadow to brave, witty and daring Lily but for the first time he saw her face turned red in anger in a literal way she was huffing like mad bull. Zack tried to interrupt but she was on the rant " you prepared me to face any challenge but are you sure it was not just up to mountain climbing or desert tracking because when it's time to really work as a soldier you give the most lamest excuse in mankind that it will be dangerous. Tell me how would you feel if I stopped you from being a soldier because it would be dangerous how would you really feel".
Zack for the first time felt ashamed for the hesitation he felt for making her fight in the actual battle, when he was already preparing for this for so many months. He still remembered timid Lily who wanted to stop living when he finally made her live he was replacing one prison from another. Seeing his guilty looks and pitiful face she held his cheeks " Zack , no sapling can grow under big tree unless it learns to fight for its own land.
