Next morning at 3:30 am a loud gong echoed inside the camp and within half an hour all soldiers were standing in orderly manner in front of the same man that they met yesterday. He said in cold voice " I didn't introduce myself because I don't want to waste my introduction on those few who lost so easily in yesterday's exercise. I am Major Batton for you all and now our next phase of training starts".
He pointed to large bags placed few meter away from us and continued " this part tests your durability. These are 60 pound bags filled with sand and your second area of training is located 40km from here and you have 12hours to reach there. There are maps and few survival essential for the trip. Have a pleasant journey". With that he sat in a jeep and went in the set direction. A few groans were heard from behind. They were already sweating for the journey to come. Lily stood up and went for the bags. As soon as she touched a bag another hand came and picked it up at the same time.
He was a tall man with thick stubble covering his face, there were few scar marks but if only looked closely. He left his part of bag muttered an apology and picked up another bag next to it. I gave him a nod and picked up mine. When all bags were picked. A clean cut man stood at the center and said " it will be better if we made a team which will make it easier to check each other. I think we should divide us according to our tents ". Zee and Zen stood next to me I gave them a nod showing I was willing and started moving forward. That guy called again " and think we should let the girls join other team or who knows they could be killed in wild desert".
He snickered after finishing his sentence Zee being the most outgoing muttered "douche".
I looked at him he looked handsome and charming with his smile but I found his eyes hiding vile thoughts inside them. I also looked at him " we can survive well on our own and if anything happens we don't expect anyone to help other. You go your own way and we go on our own".
With that our journey started. We kept our steps firm and tried to cover as much distance as we could only taking break after evey 2hr for 10mins. Sweats flowed freely from our face when Zee spoke up " why don't we empty these bags and when we are near the camp we can fill it up again". Before I could reply Zen spoke " I am sure they are not stupid they must have placed some trap and if caught I am sure we will be removed from this training".
