Chapter 105 - Chapter 105 Turwin The Lamia Village

Once morning came they all marched down the mountain to Turwin so the small snake girl could return home to her family. After they got to a survivable temperature Thomas deactivated the spell. As the snake girl unwrapped herself from Thomas's arm he glanced at a tree near the village and said "I'll be sleeping over their." They stared at him and asked "How are you gonna get their when we're still on the mountain?" Thomas teleported to the tree and sat down under it. They all glanced at each other as Lily said "It's probably best if we let him rest for a while." Scarlett glanced at Lily and said "He's been using mana since yesterday nonstop and wasn't able to sleep either." Ocis began to fly down towards Thomas as she said "I'll be with him you guys can continue walking." The snake girl stared at the village as she said "It's just how I remember it!" Daisy glanced at her and said "How long has it been since you were kidnapped?" The snake girl stared at her and said "I can't remember." Lily pointed towards the the village and shouted "It doesn't matter how long you've been away because now your back!" Scarlett glanced at Thomas and Ocis as she said "Looks like Ocis is up to something again." Scarlett watched as Ocis laid Thomas's head down on her lap as she sighed and said "You've got to admire her persistence despite him refusing her." Lily glanced at Scarlett and asked "Do you think he knows what she's doing?" Daisy stared at Lily as she said "I heavily doubt he knows what she's doing to him right now." Lily stared at them as she mumbled "I wish I could fly too." Daisy glanced at her and asked "Why don't you just learn teleportation magic?" Lily stared at her and said "I tried to learn how to do it before, but I couldn't figure out how to do it and every time he explained it I failed." Scarlett glanced at her and said "Flying isn't anything impressive." Lily stared at her and said "The only reason it's not impressive is because you can fly too!" Scarlett stared at her and said "Yes but every time I choose to fly My wings tear through the back of my clothes." The snake girl stared at Scarlett in amazement as she asked "You can fly?" Scarlett nodded as she said "I can but I'd have to rely on Thomas to repair my clothes again and I'd rather not be a burden to him." The snake girl stared at her and asked "Why don't you just take your shirt off?" Scarlett stared at her and said "I'm not gonna fly around completely exposed." Daisy stared at her and said "So even you have your own limits to that stuff." Scarlett nodded and said "Ocis probably wouldn't even hesitate to fly around naked if he asked her to." Lily stared at them confused as they asked "How did wanting to fly lead to this conversation?" Scarlett glanced at her and said "Perhaps we should worry about this conversation later." Daisy stared at the snake girl and said "Please don't tell him about this conversation." The snake girl nodded and said "I won't tell him." Lily turned back to the village and said "How about we just worry about getting the lamia home first." As they made their way to the village they passed Ocis and Thomas. As they passed Daisy asked Ocis "Do you want to come with us to find her parents?" Ocis shook her head and said "I don't know when my next opportunity to do something like this may happen so I'd rather not waste it." They all stared at her as Scarlett muttered "She has a one track mind." As they entered the town a few lamia people noticed the girl. They all slithered towards them with haste as they asked "Who are you people?" Lily stared at them as she said "We are five travelers who climbed this icy mountain to return someone's daughter." The lamia people stared at them confused as they asked "What are you talking about five people?" Scarlett pointed towards the tree as she sighed and said "Two of us are occupied with something else at the moment." The lamia people stared at them as they said "Oh yes the harpy and the demi human, they've been here for a while now." Lily stared at Thomas and Ocis as she said "He must've been pretty tired if he's still asleep." Daisy glanced at the lamia girl as she asked "Do you recognize your parents?" The girl shook her head and said "I don't see them yet." The lamia people stared at her and said "Your parents our at home they actually thought that man who kidnapped you was going to kill you." The girl slithered up to the man and asked "Can you take me to them?" The lamia man nodded and held her hand as he said "Right this way young lady." The lamia people gathered around Daisy, Scarlett, and Lily as they asked "How did you come across her?" They all stared and pointed at Thomas as they said "You'd have to ask him, he was the one that saved her." They all began to slither towards Thomas as they surrounded him Ocis glanced at the lamia. One of the lamia moved in front of Ocis and stood their as she asked "When will he be awake?" Ocis stared at Thomas and then back at the lamia as she said "I don't really know but he has been asleep for a while so he should be awake soon." Daisy, Scarlett, and Lily let out a sigh of relief as they said "For a moment I thought we were gonna have to deal with a bunch of lamia questions." They all stared at Thomas as Daisy said "It's good that we don't have to answer the questions, but didn't we just pawn them off on him?" Lily shrugged as she said "He only has to answer the questions if they stick around." As Thomas laid their completely asleep two lamia, one male one female pushed their way through the crowd and stood in front of Thomas. They stared at him and began to thank him repeatedly. As Thomas woke up he seen Ocis staring at him as he laid their on her lap. Thomas stared at her confused as he asked "What's with all the noise?" Thomas sat up and looked around and seen all the lamia people. He seen the two in front of him staring at him now speechless. Thomas stared at them and nervously asked "What happened?" The two lamia in front of him slithered closer to him and said "We would like to thank you for saving our daughter." Thomas stared at them with a blank expression as they continued to thank him. Thomas glanced at Ocis and asked "What's going on?" Ocis stood up and began to fly as she said "You have some questions to answer." Thomas watched as she flew away. Thomas sat their mumbling "I should've slept in the tree." Ocis landed next to the others and asked "Should we find the inn in this village?" They all nodded and walked away as Thomas shouted "I can't believe your all just gonna ditch me!" They all glanced at him as Lily said "He'll be fine if we leave him for a while." Thomas stared at all of the lamia surrounding him as he said "Just ask your questions, the sooner we get this over with the better." After answering all of their questions the lamia slowly began to clear out. After hearing Thomas's story their were three lamia still standing their staring at him. One of the lamia pointed at him and said "We'd like to see if your story is true!" Thomas stared at them as he stood up shrugged and said "I don't really care if you believe the story or not but if you don't have any more questions then I'm leaving." The lamia wrapped himself around Thomas and stared him in the face as he said "We would like to fight you and see if your strength is that of the story's." Thomas tilted his head and said "The people I'm traveling with will probably get pretty mad at me if I do fight you." The lamia began to tighten his grip around Thomas as he said "We three would like to challenge you one on one, but if you won't fight us-." Thomas stared at him and said "I never said I wouldn't fight you, all I said was that some people will be real mad about it." The lamia loosened his grip and untied Thomas as he said "We will decide the rules momentarily, please wait for us each to choose our own set of rules." Thomas yawned as he said "Yeah yeah whatever you say, just hurry up and decide already."
