The 10 Major Companies

Powerful companies that the whole world knows, they suddenly appeared 20 years ago and with that short time they took control of the economic and market value of each leading countries, that includes U.S. of A, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Australia, Norway, Switzerland and France. Their sudden appearance shook the world upside-down. From basic food and clothing, to news, entertainment, films and music, technology, travelling across the world, and even in forms of guns and ammo.

If this very planet is Hell, then those leaders of the 10 Major Companies are the Demon Kings.

*Principal's office*

"I beg your pardon sir?"

Percy's voice started to stutter as she was very confused of what the man in the lame patterned necktie had said.

The 10 major companies are very influential, powerful, and elite among the elites. Surely if they would ask anybody for help, be it professional or common folk they would wag their tails for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Yet why would they go to trouble asking a 17 year old highschool girl for help?

Upon Percy's confusion, Zagan explained.

"Our companies must not fall into despair once we, the leaders, falls victim in the natural event called death, that's why we all have heirs that will succeed us in the future. We raised them well and made them adapt our beliefs in running the world but as a young adult, we must not neglect their own emotion and feelings of individualism. And despite teaching them what it meant to be goal-oriented, we forgot the fact that they need to learn a basic emotion that all human beings have, the emotion called 'love', and that's where we ask your help Ms. Grimgall."

"But sir I don't..."

Percy couldn't finish her sentence as Zagan continued to talk.

"I want you to teach 10 heirs how it feels to love."

*School Cafeteria*

The Heil-Grande serves their students the best meals as possible. And since Percy is a scholar student, she receives special treatment and therefore she doesn't need to pay for her lunch meals.

Eating on the table with beef ribs and rice soup as her menu, Percy sighs deeply.

She thought, 'Teach them how to love?! How can I possibly do that?' Percy kept pondering while tapping the table with her spoon.

"Hey, that's bad manners, Is the food not to your liking?" Aym asked as he was distracted by Percy's continuous tapping.

Aym, Percy's bestfriend, accompanies her during lunch time and hangs with her when she doesn't have someone to flirt with. Their relationship is purely platonic and they've been BFF's for 3 years. Even though Percy is a well rumoured player, Aym simply doesn't care and instead he holds importance of the fact that, he cannot win against Percy on a single arcade game.

"Is something bothering you? Perhaps your talk with the principal?"

"No it's nothing, I just got a lot of things to do later that's all." Percy answered.

The unconvinced Aym raises one eyebrow as his suspicion rises, but knowing Percy for 3 years he's very much used to Percy not opening up on her private matters, so he decided to shrug it off and not to pry in any further.

"Hmm.. Okay, if you say so"

And they both continued their meals with the start of another topic, mostly about games.

*Percy's House*

Inside her room, Percy sits on her bed and recalls the conversation she had with the principal.

"Teach them how it feels to love, it doesn't matter how you do it, just make them aware that they have the emotion of attraction or simple feeling of infatuation."

"But why me sir?" the puzzled Percy asked.

Zagan looked at her and chuckled.

"In order to not let our scholar students bring shame and dirt in this prestigious school, we needed to put you into light surveillance, and it was reported to me that you Ms. Grimgall, has fine skills in playing around."

Zagan pulls another envelope, this time a bunch of pictures shows Percy with different companions in different time and places.

"...."

Percy was speechless as she wasn't aware that she was under surveillance this whole time.

"You have the right to refuse Ms. Grimgall, but i might just say that this offer that I have will, DEFINITELY help you big time in your future."

Percy once again locked eye contact with Zagan as thoughts of doubts, distrust, and confusion filled her mind. She thought, 'Suspicious as it is, i might as well hear what he has to say...' and so she asked her question.

"What do I get in accepting your offer sir principal?"

Zagan smirks as he finally sees that Percy is going along his plans as he expected.

Back in Percy's room, Percy holds a contract that has details in Zagan's offer.

--Make contact with the 10 heirs of the major companies and make them fall in love.

--Spend one week with each heir and be successful in your objective.

NOTES:

-- A report needs to be submitted to Mr. Zagan Arcullious at the end of each week.

--Failure in a single task will taken as a motive to breach the contract, thus making the contract null and void.

Percy lets out a sigh as she finished scanning the contents of the contract over and over again. She had her own reasons as to accept or reject the contract and she says to herself, 'The 10 major companies that are currently ruling the world needs my help??'

Her eyes grew wider because of bewilderment, 'Hah...I can tell this is gonna be Hell.'

Percy made up her mind and pulls out a shiny business card.
