The snake opened its mouth to bite the small human in front of it but how can Kence let that? He poured strength on his feet and circled around the snake's body
Truthfully, aside from its size the snake didn't have much attack power. It was also a non-poison snake and can only attack using its body. This snake was one of the weaker type of Blood Beast, most talented humans can kill it if they have even a little bit of fighting skill
Kence circled around the snake's body with the sword on his hand. His sword slashed on the snake's scales leaving a few inches deep wound. But no blood came out from the wound as it was sealed by the icy energy of Kence's Bloodline power. The icy energy entered the snake's body damaging it inside but compared to the snake's whole body the damage was negligible
The snake was enraged and opened its mouth again to bite down on the human who hurt it. If Kence was not in his cold state his fighting skills is far lower and can't even be considered as average in the Elite Class. The students there after all mostly from Nobility Clan which were heavily nurtured
Kence doesn't have much fighting experience nor enough training, he can't exert all the strength on his body yet. He poured everything he can from that sword slash and can't dodge or launch another attack yet
The kid gritted his teeth and forcefully blocked the snake's mouth by placing his sword in front of him. But it also caused Kence's body to tremble, not only from the impact but also because of being this close from the snake's mouth
Its disguting breath assaulted Kence's nose while its appearance affected his mentality. His grip on the sword started to weaken and the snake's face become even closer to his which further put him in a dangerous situation
"What a disgrace to all Elite Class!" Yohan said while sneering which Kence naturally heard as the kid purposely said it out loud. His words struck Kence's nerve
A thin layer of ice covered Kence's foot, it was unlike before that's just icy cold fog. It's real ice this time that covered his foot. Kence roared in anger and heavily kicked the snake on its jaw causing it to become dizzy
The layer of ice on his foot was also destroyed into smaller pieces, his foot hurt a bit because of the impact. "AAAHH!!!" The snake's head was facing the sky from Kence's kick and Kence seized this chance to stab his sword on it upwards destroying its brain
Fortunately for Kence, the icy energy on his sword sealed the snake's wound if not he would be soaked with the snake's blood. Kence breath heavily while holding his sword with his shaking hands. The snake's heavy head caused it to slide down on the sword and landing on Kence's head
It was as if time itself stopped and Kence's mind went black for a second before a loud scream even louder than before resounded out in the forest "AAAAAHHHHH!!!!"
Kence screamed with all his might and pushed the snake's head from his body and running far away from it. "Idiot!" Yohan's face turned ashen at hearing that scream. As long as they have common sense they should know not to scream and attract attention in a forest filled with Blood Beast
"Roar!!" An animalistic growl resounded from behind Yohan's group. "B-bloodthirsty L-lion!" Not just a normal bloodthirsty lion but one at the peak of level 2!
This lion is even more powerful than the dog that Sven battled with. Yohan was only around Kence's level while his lackeys were even below that, they have no hope at kill at all
"Damn! Run!" Yohan shouted while some fire covered his foot to boost his speed. A cruel glint appeared on his eyes and the direction he run to was the direction where Kence is! Actually, he and Kence are only a bit more than tens of meters away and in just a few seconds he passed by the kid
"H-huh? What happened?" As Kence was freaking out from the snake's body falling to him he didn't think much of the animalistic growl that he heard. He didn't know how to react when three people run and passed by him, he didn't even know why they are running
But soon, he learned the reason why they were running desperately. Not just that but it seems like they want to make him as an scapegoat!
The lion was about 1 meter long and tall when its on all fours, it's smaller than the snake he fought but that snake don't even stand a chance against this lion!
His whole body trembled with fear, so far this is the most powerful Blood Beast Kence encountered. Just its ferocious appearance made him lose all of his fighting capabilities.
The bloodthirsty lion looked at Kence menacingly, its disgusting saliva dripping on the ground. Kence shakily hold his sword in front of him, he can't run. Even if he want to but the fear his body was experiencing prevented him from running away
He can only try put up a fight. The lion let out another animalistic growl before launching itself towards Kence. Its speed was so fast that the kid was not even able to react. It's not just the lion's speed that is terrifying but also its strength!
Even with the sword on his hand enduring the blow Kence was still blown away a few meters before his back hit an unlucky tree. His mouth involuntary opened to spew out blood. Even his sword was knocked away from him. In just a single strike he was already heavily injured!
His vision was already getting blurry and the only thing he can see was the blurry body of the lion slowly approaching him with cruelty on its eyes. "A-am I going to die again?" Kence thought on his mind and he suddenly saw his parents smiling at him

Even without the help of soul power bits of blood red particles automatically flew inside his soul. The red particles were absorbed by the blue bird Blood Soul raising its life force and power. Without Kence doing anything his cultivation stage was automatically rising by itself
Kence's eyes glowed with an icy blue light while cold smokes came out from his mouth. His face was filled with seriousness and unwillingness to die

The lion was enraged from seeing Kence's determination and swiped its strong paws to Kence. A layer of ice even thicker than the ice that covered his foot before covered Kence's right hand

A layer of ice also covered Kence's left hand and he threw a punch towards the lion. The lion did the same and used its powerful paw to meet the ice covered fist

Kence looked at the towering kid in front of him with bitterness, even though he hoped that Sven would save him but it's only by escaping! The mid level 2 Blood Beast that Sven fought was already a small realm higher than him. While the lion was at the peak of Level 2, two small realms higher than him yet Sven easily killed the lion
If Sven has this ability why not help him from the start? Why did he need wait for when Kence almost got himself killed before taking action?
Hateful! This is too hateful! Not only he forced Kence in this forest but he also almost let him die!
"Even in a life and death situation you are still so weak" Sven said while shaking his head which made Kence to glare at him. Sven grabbed something on his pocket before forcefully shoving it into Kence's mouth
"That's a healing pill, spit it out if you want" Kence was almost about to do that but when he heard that it is a healing pill he immediately swallowed it. "You need to pay that to me in the future"
Kence almost fainted on the spot because of Sven's words. Just who forced him to enter this hateful forest? Who caused him to be this injured? This is all Sven's fault! Yet, here he is wanting Kence to pay for the medicine that he was the reason why the kid needed it in the first place!
"What? I'm going to teach you alchemy, even thousands of that pill can't put a dent on a successful alchemy's pocket. Are you that stingy?" Kence decided to swallow his hate for now. He really want to become an alchemist, he can endure it if this Sven can really help him
"And now I'm gonna teach you again" Sven said with a demon like smile on his face while Kence had a bad feeling about it. Sven picked a random grass on the ground and cut it into five pieces using his soul power
The pieces of grass hovered above his hand. "Now, I want you to freeze this grass now. If you can't do it don't even think of wanting to learn alchemy from me"
