Mages.

Mages are the most respected, powerful and also the rarest type of people. These Mages could absorb Mana around to temper their bodies and eventually perform their Spells after.

Only the Mages could use different types of Magic. The most common type of Magic are the four elements.

If one wants to achieve immortality, this person must pass three platforms. The first platform is called Mortal Platform without seven different realms namely: Beginner, Apprentice, Pupil, Expert, Master, Grandmaster and High Master. These realms are further divided into nine smaller stages.

Outside a classroom, a figure could be seen which belongs to a young man with ethereal beauty.

This person have paler than white skin, white hair, dim red eyes that shone no life, sharp features and excellent body proportions.

He's extremely handsome, it's impossible to find someone comparable to him.

Especially his deadly seductive and charming demeanor together with his youthful yet lethal aura. Aside from this, he smelled intoxicating, so manly.

" The class I'll be transferring in might have more males. Their Yang Qi is being absorbed by my body." His youthful and melodious voice sounded only for him to hear.

Since young, he had this special body ability which absorbs Yang Qi in the surroundings including the Yang Qi inside a man.

Of course, he could intentionally absorb the Yang Qi of a person but it'll exhaust the person that much and will lose their sexual abilities for a day or more.

With Yang Qi being absorbed inside his body, he naturally smelled manlier and more intoxicating than other people. His Yang Qi is more potent and abundant.

What bothers him the most are those 'wet dreams' that is one of the effects of his special ability. He suffers nearly once each month.

He came from somewhere far from this place called Linsui City.

Now that he's here, he decided to join the Empire High School, the most known school when it comes to appearance in the whole city.

He straightened his uniform which is a simple white long sleeves, sky blue coat and sky blue pants coupled with white shoes. This color uniquely suited his paler than white skin.

" It's already two weeks since school year started. Every school accepted sixteen years old Mages only. " The young man scratched his head remembering that he's only fifteen years right now and he was able to join the school due to some reasons.

"I'm surely the youngest." He thought and raised his slender and slim fingers. Pushing the ring button, he sighed calmly.

Right after pushing the button, the door opened side ways and revealed a room full of male students with questiong gazes. Their attention then landed to his face.

" Oh my god! So handsome! I'm actually attracted!"

" Could it be that he descended from the heaven? He's an angel!"

" I think I've underestimated the world thinking that I know every handsome person."

As everyone saw his face, they started to chat with their seatmates. Used to this already, he approached the man in glasses which is their adviser.

"Hello, why don't you introduce yourself?" The man asked with a bright smile.

Nodding, he released a soft agreement sound. His gaze swept over the entire classroom." Hello, I'm Prince Xein Tazuna and you can call me Prince, nice to meet you all. Please take care of me."

After hearing his name, people gasped.

" Such a good name and face."

" I never heard someone having this surname before."

" Heavens, truly unfair."

The man who is in fact their adviser smiled. "Hello Prince, they call me Teacher Igryth. Welcome to Class B1. The 'B' stands for boys and '1' for your class section."

Xein nodded and smiled brightly as if he's a goody two shoes.

A student from the section raised his hands and said, " Teacher, the tradition. Don't forget about it. "

"Ahh" Teacher Igryth seemed to have remembered something. He looked at the young man and informed him about the tradition. " Since you came two weeks late, the students here have shown some of their skills."

Xein subconsciously nodded. The class wants to see him perform a spell. " Oh! Got it."

The young man smiled placidly and muttured a single spell which he finds the cutest of his spell. " Flakes of Desolate South"

In his classmates' view, blue dots started appearing on Xein's palm. Those dots moved gently and condensed into a snow flake with majestic patterns.

Without Xein knowing, a surprises expression appeared on Teacher Igryth's eyes that only stayed there for a moment. ' This kid can perform a spell smoothly without even concentrating. Based on the snow flake's appearance, the spell could be something above Green Level 3 Spell with Mid Progress.'

Spells are graded using colors. Green is the lowest, then Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Blue, Black, Silver and Gold with ten smaller levels.

What shocked him the most is the majestic image of the flake. This types of spells are used by Mage Idols for shows only. It can easily deceive someone into believing that it's weak and only for decoration. At the same time, it's Ice Magic.

If one wants to use a kind of Magic, this person must understand the true nature of this Magic and gain it's approval. Taking the Ice Magic as example, one must understand the Ice Magic but it will cause severe coldness that could even freeze someone. As for gaining it's approval, one must show communicate with the Ice Magic for quite some time.

Teacher Igryth started clapping his hands who also made the students do the same.

He bowed ninety degrees and heard his teacher tell him to seat anywhere he wants. There isn't a rule for sitting arrangement afterall.

Xein's gaze scanned the room and found an empty seat in the back part of the room which is exactly at the side of the window. The desk and chair is even touching the wall.

'Oh God! I hate sitting next to a window.' He sighed inwardly but still sat on the chair. Xein placed his bag on the holder and glanced at the window.

There he saw the magnificent view showing the school park. Built following a semi circle pattern, the buildings are planned based on Yin Yang. The buildings gathers the two energies and channels it to the school park where students spends their free time.

"Hello classmate Prince, I am called Youhan Siege. Let's enjoy the high school life together!" His attention was taken when someone interrupted his thoughts.

He searched for the owner of the voice and found a face looking at him. The voice came from the person infront of him which is called Youhan. Although not that handsome, his face is passable.

Xein's smile froze when his unique ability started absorbing Youhan's Yang Qi. There are people who have loose Yang Qi and there are also the opposite. Youhan happened to be one.

' If I talk to him even longer, he might get dizzy since his Yang Qi will get depleted or he may even fall unconscious. I must not associate with people like him for their own good.'

The young man then remembered something from deep inside his mind.

The memory wherein two innocent kids was killed because of him.

That person doesn't want him to form friends with just anyone. Or else, those people will be killed by him.

Xein closed his eyes in attempt to bury that memory again.

Looking at Youhan, he gave an innocent smile but didn't talk.

"So handsome and also not that sociable." Youhan mumbled and started scribbling figures on his notebook.

The young man's attention fell unto his teacher.

"So I was about to announce earlier that today is the day designated for each class to select their participants for the School Magic Duels. We will have our turn at 2 in the afternoon which will end at 3. The rest of the day , you are free."

The students nodded except for Xein. Teacher Igryth saw this and wasn't surprised.

" Class Monitor, go and accompany Prince to a tour around the school. At the same time explain everything to him. That's all, enjoy your day and let's meet later. Class dismiss." Said Igryth.

Then, another classmate of him approached Xein. The latter was surprised that this person does have a strong Yang Qi. It won't harm him if Xein spends some time with him.

Based on what he saw earlier, their class monitor stands out when it comes to appearance. As for the cultivation level, Xein secretly found out that he's already a Fourth Stage Beginner Realm.

"Hello, I'm Dace Montel, the class monitor." He extended his arm offering a handshake.

The young man shook his hand.

"Let's go, shall we?" Dace invited him which he accepted. He took his bag from the holder and hangged it on one of his shouldee.

Dace then started explaining about the event in the school.

"Later, our class will fight. This will be a Solo Duel until the first place gets decided. The first place will then represent our class and compete with other class representatives in the School Duels with the same year. The first place will then be the representative of the school for the Solo Fight Category in Interhigh Duels. The first place and second place of the of each year will team up to be representatives for the Duo Fight Category. As for the Team Fight Category, the school will be the one to decide."

In fact, Xein had heard about this Duels but not that much. Digesting the new information, he asked for more.

Dace patiently explained some minor details. " The School Duels will occur in there days. Each participant will be given a protective circle by the school staff. If broken, they could admit defeat or not. If they wanted to continue, they can. The protective barrier can block some spells to some extent. It's practically invincible against physical attacks."

Nodding, Xein easily understood about the School Duel. " As for the Interhigh Duels?" He queried.

"Ah that's an exciting event." Dace started. " Every school in Linsui City will compete. The school will choose a flag carrier. These flag carrier will lead the school at the parade. This is actually a hidden competition where schools will select their most handsome or beautiful student."

" As for the real fight, there are three categories each year which are the Solo Fight, Due Fight and Team Fight. The name suggests how many participant must the school send each Year Level. " He added before catching his breath.

Xein nodded once again satisfied about how the competition will go. He never participated in one of these competitions and he felt excited. The first place became his goal after hearing about the School Duel.

He glanced at Dace. " You're older than me right? Then I'll call you Brother Dace."

"Okay" Dace gigled and resumed talking about the event enthusiastically. " The main highligh of the Interhigh Duels is the night party before the competition. In this party, there'll be some dance, signing and other kind of competitions."

Nowadays, people could earn money by dancing and singing. There are these so called Mage Idols who performs on television and do some entertainment activities.

Subconsciously nodding, Xein asked if he wi participate at the Class Duel later on.

" Yes." Dace started with a heavy sigh as if he's having some problem. " Everyone's required to participate in the Class Duel. However, it's useless for me to hope about winning. We have Vitri Thez in our class which is now a Sixth Grade Beginner Realm. His fire spells are too tyrannical. He is most likely to be our class representative and will win the third place with hopes of gaining second place. I suggest you to avoid him."

He heard this clearly and secretly smirked. Never in his life will he avoid someone or to admit defeat. That person always told him to be like this. It's better to die with honor than to live in shame. He might be weaker but he'll never be afraid to fight.

' Vitri Thez, don't even think of casually being the class representative. It's true that fire melts the ice but the ice extinguishes the fire.' He thought and marked Vitri Thez as one of his opponent.

While doing this, he can't help but wonder why Dace predicted that he'll most likely to win only the third place. " Is there someone more powerful than him Big Brother?"

" Yes there is." Dace eyes shoned with admiration. " He is called General Hewitt Pheon. He's just a monster, a frightening monster. He's only fifteen, yet already at the Eight Stage Beginner Realm. Compared to him, Vitri's fire spells are mere jokes. Moreover, his comprehension level is insane."

"..." Xein was stunned. ' Could it be that he came from that place and clan? '

It's known that Mages only acquire the ability to communicate with Mana once they turn sixteen. This is because the body without reaching sixteen years of age is too weak for the Mana. It could explode.

However, there are gifted people with Physiques which could allow them to control Mana earlier than sixteen years of age.

Physiques are special. They could give certain abilities to a person and can even alter the body's characteristics and features.

' I never expected that someone like me hides here. What Physique does this person possess?' He thought.

He's only fifteen this year. Since young, he had known about his Physique and never stopped norturing it. His strange ability ro absorb Yang Qi is because of this Physique.

Once his Physique flares up, the Yang Qi is inside him will rampant and burn anything around him. However, it still provides him with more connection towards Fire Magic.

Acting deeply shocked, Xein didn't talk but maintained his widened eyes.

" Can't speak ey? We had the same reaction. Even the Principal wanted to take him as his disciple but he refused saying that he already got one." Dace said with a little laugh.

"Now, I'll tell you about the school. There are a total of four buildings for the four year level, and two for school facilities. In each year, the males and females are separated..."

What's sup guys! I've decided to write a novel following the plot inside my head which was generated due to a lot of imaginations everyday. Like why is Earth incapable of Mana?
