Synopsis
Amelia Hawkins is a senior in highschool, she's funny, caring, and popular with the guys, but she only has ever had eyes for Garret Fallon. The golden boy of Westchester High, star quarter back with sunkissed skin, soft blonde hair, and eyes that were bluer than the ocean. The day he asked her out was the best day of her life, or so she thought. She soon found out that he was not as good as a person as he seemed. One night they were at a party and everything was going right until she found him with another girl. She decided to ignore it and almost considered giving up her virginity to stay with him. Then another night she caught him with another girl, she had already had a few drinks and was definitely past being tipsy. She had heard that her boyfriend was seen at this club with another girl. To say she was pissed off would be an understatement, she went to the club and they had a nice little chat. Then things took a turn for the worst, being flat out drunk, wearing a short dress, walking home by yourself made you as vulnerable as you could be, but she didn't have to worry long. The person who saved her would be the very last person you would expect to do an act of kindness, for he was the king of everything evil, his name is Declan Diabolus or better known as The Devil and he has always gotten what he has wanted and now he wants her and will stop at nothing to get it.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

    "C'mon lets go, you know they don't start the party until I walk through those doors." I joked as my best friend, Natalie, rolled her eyes. My knees wobbled as the alcohol took over, "Are you already drunk Amelia?" I looked at her and narrowed my eyes, "Of course not." I swung my hips and fluttered my eyelashes at the bouncer as he let me pass him without making me show him my 'ID'. As I made my way to the V.I.P section my too short of dress was rubbed up by all the bodies pushing against me. I shoved my way through the crowd, shocking grey eyes flashing like lightning searching for the person I was here for. When my eyes found him, I smirked. He thought he could get away with it again, didn't he?

    I walked over to him and grabbed the sluts fake blonde hair and threw her to the floor. Garret stood up; his 6'3 frame towering over my 5'8 one, hands in his pockets and a cocky smirk that was always on his face. I couldn't even describe my anger as his eyes sparkled with amusement. "Leave Samantha, Your no longer needed." He said as he glanced at the floor behind me. I listened to the sound of scattering as Samantha left the room, "So, Babe, whats up?" He nonchalantly asked as if nothing had happened.

     All rationality left me as my hands balled into fists and swung towards his face, nailing him straight in the jaw. I staggered to the side as my vision started blurring. I felt like I was going to puke.

Dammit, I shouldn't of drank so much.

    "Screw you," I spat, holding my head attempting to steady my vision. As my vision slowly steadied, I glared at him, "I hate you." I could see the hurt flash across his face but it was gone too fast for me to say anything about it.

    "I would say that hurts my feelings but its a good thing I never liked you. You were just using me for the attention," I looked at him in disgust. My eyes started stinging and I knew I needed to leave before I cried in front of him. I could not show him that I was weak, the predator would become the prey if I cried in front of him.

    "Your a disgusting pig who should rot in hell for all eternity." I said as I stumbled towards the door. My vision was beginning to darken around the edges and I knew that I needed to get out of there and get home immediately.

    "Looks like I'll see you there then." He said with a wink. My lip curled back into a snarl as I glanced back at him a scowl placed on my face.

~~~Unknown POV~~~
    "Great acting kid, gotta give you some props for not caving in to the strong emotions emitting from her." I said as I walked towards the door, wishing to escape the alcohol and sweat smelling room.
    "What about my reward?"
    "Oh, yes, yes, sorry, I almost forgot about that." I said with a sneer as I turned back around to face him.
Can this kid be anymore annoying?
     "Shouldn't you go be drowning yourself in alcohol? You just broke up with your girlfriend and your wondering about your reward? Didn't you love her?"
    "No,"
    "Well then who was the person this was going to?" I pulled out a small velvet ringbox, "Is there someone else named Amelia Hawkins?" I looked at his expression, "I thought not."
     "You promised! What about my reward!!" He yelled as I turned around and continued walking towards the door.
"Damn, I hope you end up in Heaven cause I don't want to deal with your annoying ass." I muttered as I quickly said a few words and snapped my fingers, an orange light enveloped the room, screams soon followed and then silence. I'm pretty sure his name was Garret, but what would I care to remember somebody that nobody else is going to? I didn't need to worry about some douche bag cause now all my loose ends were tied up and now I could put my plan into motion.... perfect.
~~~Amelia's POV~~~

    I stumbled out of the club, trying to avoid the groping hands. Tears were running down my face and I burst through the doors of the club. The need for fresh air was to strong as I breathed in deeply. The bouncer looked at me in concern but I know he didn't actually care, nobody did. I attempted to steady myself and started walking; more like stumbling, down the sidewalk. A crack of lightning followed by thunder made me shiver, it alwsys made me feel better when there was a storm, it calmed me down. Rain soon followed and soon I was soaked. I looked up at the sky and noticed that it looked like it was in pain too, the clouds were dark and puffy like they had already been crying for hours. I leaned against a wall and looked up at the sky, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the feeling of the cold rain water washing away all my emotions if only for a moment. I then took off my heels, picking them up I started walking again, feet slapping against the wet concrete. By now I probably looked like a huge mess, mascara was probably running down my face, my hair was a rat's nest and I knew without looking down that my dress was soaked, which meant it had most likely become see through.

    I looked down at my feet and saw that they were bleeding from the sharp rocks on the pavement. I kept looking down at the ground trying to avoid the glances of passing couples, most of which had an umbrella. I then blushed in embarrassment as I ran into somebody. I looked up and saw who I had run into, it was a slightly older man, probably in his mid 20s, with chestnut hair and black eyes, he was chubby, "Sorry," I said as I tried to back away.

    "Nah, it's alright babygirl. You can bump into my any time you want." He said as his lustful eyes roamed over my body. I then noticed he had meat like fingers as he grabbed my wrist. He was by far the ugliest man I had ever seen but I let him lead me wherever he was going, I was far too intoxicated to do anything else.

    From what I could tell he had taken me to an dark, wet, and empty alleyway. He shoved me against a wall, hand gripping my thigh, his lips attacking my neck ferociously. I tensed as his hand started wandering up towards the entrance of my shirt. His hand was teasing my stomach as I started squirming, trying to get away from him. But my attempts were futile as I thrashed against him, he only pushed me harder against the wall, "Let me go!! Please!" I screamed at him. His hand started wandering higher, I quickly lashed out, my fingernails tearing skin from his cheek. He stumbled away, clutching his cheek but soon the shock wore off and he came back, this time, punching me in the face.

    It took me a minute to realize what had happened as I looked at him. His eyes were consumed by a crazed look and I spit the blood pooling in my mouth at his face, "Your not worth the effort anymore," He said, "Too bad that I now have to kill you, tsk tsk, such a waste." He said as he grabbed me by the hair and smashed my head against the concrete wall.
