Ron was given everything he wanted and desired from young, his mother certainly spoilt him rotten while his father never had time to spend with his family. It was always buisness buisness which drove his mother's love all towards Ron.
When Ron bullied another child, his mother reasoned it must be because the other child provoked him.
When Ron kicks around their servants it was their fault for being incompetent and her son was only teaching them to be proper.
When Ron punched a kid so hard that a tooth even flew out because he was talked down to, his mother somehow managed to twist the story to him becoming a hero that would stand up against verbal abuse. The real story was the kid was defending a classmate of his verbally and gotten a punch for his reward.
Long story short, he was always right. Even when he was wrong he was right.
With a bright smile he could just forsee his future with this angel and he believed that it was right. Ron held out his hand confidently and his mother and grandfather and the side were also smiling.
His grandfather knew that his grandson was a wastrel but he was still nonetheless a Gatesburg. Ron's good looks was probably his only saving grace in his opinion.
'My grandson needs a strong woman in the future to take care of his lazy ass and this little one will fulfill that role quite nicely.'
He definitely would want to let his grandson be engaged as soon as possible, it was still possible to fool young girls with looks.
Sylvia saw Ron's intense look at her and was utterly repulsed. She held no good feelings for this family and even less so after seeing Ron in person.
She shook his hand briefly before withdrawing her hand and went completely silent. Not wanting to respond to his endless pointless questions.
Seeing Sylvia's lack of interest, Ron felt frustrated. What was he supposed to do?
"Come let us have dinner. My chefs have prepared the finest food and exquisite desserts for the young ones."
Dinner was prepared lavishly as promise but the conversation was mostly between the adults. Mostly how 'good' the children are together and how great it will be to combine the families.
Grandpa Syl on the other hand always managed to skillfully dodge the question while Syl just happily ate up the desserts like a vacuum cleaner. Once she was done she excused herself to use the loo, seeing a chance to be alone with her Ron excused himself as well.
Little did he know following a girl to the toilet is a big no no.
Minus favorability points achieved!
Ron has been creepzoned!
Not knowing he just did himself a rather great inservice he happily went along with Sylvia chatting about how great he was.
Sylvia was really annoyed. It wasn't the first time she saw a narcissist but Ron was among the top few. Even when she was about to enter the toilet which she thought she would be a sanctuary, Ron almost went in with her!
Of course she did the most lady like action she could. The elegant and majestic heel stomp!
