Iris wakes between Kaname and Takuma. She sighs and gets up. The ball was tonight and she had to make sure her dress was perfect. She sowed till about three. Her mother's dress was a bit worse for where, when it was given to her. She spent countless hours mending and fixing it to the point it could be worn again. "I honestly still think Cordelia's dress would look better on you." Laito said placing a hand on her shoulder. "You also know Cordelia hated me because I was not hers. She wanted a daughter but dad wouldn't give her one. " she said finishing the embroidery on the sleeves. "She holds not even a ember to your beauty. None of them did you are you,and nothing matters to me more than that." He said before helping her. "Laito I don't want to marry Takuma. I don't see why father would agree. Takuma is not pure nor is his family any way close to being so." She said starting to cry. "Takuma only wants to strengthen his family. He cares not a wit for me. " she said looking at her brother. "Takuma has threatened the life of someone I love if I don't go threw with it." She was quiet for a moment before standing up. "So you are protecting this person from him. You fear he will go threw with the thret. Iris thats no way to live. You will constantly look over your shoulder because of him." Laito said holding her. "I have to get ready for the ball Laito. We can talk more later ok." She said sending him out the room.
