In the forest, two people that seemed like a couple was strolling around. As for why they looked like a couple, it was simple. They were holding hands, or rather the female was holding the male's hand very tightly. The female was also happily humming, while she was waving her right hand.
Earlier...
"Lily there seems to be a bear's den nearby, or rather cave filled with bears. Why don't we hunt them?".
Lily pondered a bit before she answered, "How many bears are there?".
"There is around eight of them...", Sid sighed as he noticed other players were already inside. He continued, "but it seems that a group of five pla... I mean people has already went in".
Lily spoke, "Then let's find another bear den".
Sid drew a magic circle and used another life detection spell, when he used it what he could see changed. It was like a bird's eye view, or rather top view game. The only difference was the fact that he can detect the heat of every mammal within a hundred meters. There was one downside with it though, sometimes there was only red spots which didn't look anything like an animal.
Quickly he calculated which animals were the nearest and how far they were from them.
"There's a colony of rabbits around twenty of them thirty meters from us".
Lily excitedly said, "Let's go then". Yesterday Sid found out that Lily loved to eat rabbit meat, Sid on the other hand couldn't imagine eating those cute fluffy rabbits.
Aaah!
They were about to walk away from the den, when they heard the scream. Sid turned around and casted the spell once again, this time he noticed that the red spots inside the cave weren't just red spots. They were actually bears in the process of hibernation.
'Now that I thought about it, isn't it the season for bears to hibernate and the ones that were still awake still haven't eaten enough to do so'.
Sid and Lily ran inside the cave immediately, but when they arrived at the scene they were greeted with two corpses. Sid didn't care much about the fact that they died, thinking that they were players anyway. It was just that Sid thought that Lily was too young to see it, so he covered her eyes.
She spoke, "What is it? Why did you cover my eyes?".
As if someone heard her, another voice spoke "Please help us!".
Sid looked at his side where the voice came from, and an idea struck him.
'Why didn't I use a night vision spell?'.
Sid drew another magic circle and used a night vision spell, allowing both him and Lily to see in the dark. The only reason they were able to see the corpses were the torches beside them, looking at the corpses again he found out their classes. One was a mage, the other was an archer.
'What kind of party doesn't protect their long range damage dealers?'.
Sid glanced at the bear they were fighting and he thought that it was quite different. The bear had brown fur just like a normal grizzly bear, but a red horn protruded from it's forehead, and on it's left eye there was a scar that was shaped like an X.
"What type of bear is that!?".
One of the players answered, "We don't know as well".
Hearing Sid ask, Lily opened her eyes. She glanced at the bear and she said in shock, "That's a Horned Bear!".
Everyone, "..."
Sid thought, 'What a simple name, but we already know that it has a horn so it probably is'.
"How different is it from normal bears then?".
Lily answered, "Horned Bears are as powerful as five bears in one, they should be half as strong as my brother".
Sid threw a pebble at the horned bear, immediately taking the aggro.
'Half as strong, I think I can do this'.
But surprisingly the bear didn't immediately charge at him, but it grabbed one of the players beside it and threw it at him. Due to Sid's shock he was hit before he could react.
'How smart'.

Sid flew a meter backward before he was able to regain his balance, but when he did the bear was already charging at him. Sid drew a magic circle, he thought that it wasn't a good idea to use fire magic inside a cave so he used wind magic.
"Wind Arrow!".
[-10 Mana]
Woosh!
The wind arrow was so fast it hit the bear within a second, but the bear's fur was so thick that it couldn't pierce it.
Sid drew another magic circle, this time he used earth magic.
"Stone Pierce!".
[-25 Mana]

Blood splattered and one of the bear's legs were pierced, the bear roared as it easily pulled it's leg out of the stone spike. It then continued to charge at Sid, but this time it was obviously angrier. Sid drew another magic circle, this time it was the wind element again.
The bear got near Sid and as it was about to slam his body on Sid, it's head was chopped off as a blade of wind was directly conjured underneath it's neck.
