"Nice to meet you." Shanks beamed as I stared curiously at Sinbad. I'm sure the other boys and girls introduced themselves but I was too focused on Sinbad I didn't hear them.
'If Sinbad is here are the rest of the characters in Magi here as well? That curator did say this was a world of anime so if One Piece and Magi characters are here, what are the others?' I was deep in thought when I finally realized one of the girls held their arms out to Shanks, wanting to hold me.
"Can I hold her? She's so cute." She asked, the other two girls right behind her. I looked up to Shanks and he had his eyes narrowed at her skeptically before looking down at me.
"Promise you won't drop her?" He eyed them again. The girls looked genuinely offended, especially the one with her arms held out.
"I'll have you know I have twin baby brothers I help my momma with!" She defended, hands on her hips as she glared at him. He watched her closely for a few seconds.
"Fine." He said finally, handing me over to her. She held me close and sat down on the curb, the other two sitting on either side of her. I watched Shanks, Buggy, Sinbad and the other boys agree on some game and start running around. Frankly, I dozed off to her rocking me and their laughter. Quite soothing surprisingly.

A while later I woke up in an unfamiliar house. 'Please tell me I wasn't kidnapped…' I huffed, flailing my arms around.
"Oh, looks like she's awake, Ray-san." A gentle voice spoke. My father quickly scooped me up in his arms and showed me off to the woman who spoke.
'Isn't that?' I cocked my head to the side looking at her.
"Esra, this is Isabo. My little Bo Bo." He introduced me to her.
'Sinbad's mother. Is his dad around? Is she going to fall ill again?' The questions bombarded my thoughts as I looked at her kind face.
"Oh, she's beautiful Ray-san." Esra said rubbing my head thoughtfully. "She certainly has her mother's eyes." She smiled solemnly at me.
'Wait, you know my mother?' My eyes widened.
"She does, doesn't she? My beautiful girl." He gushed.
'Quite the doting dad, isn't he?' I locked eyes with him. Suddenly Esra started coughing, backing away while covering her mouth.
"Are you alright?" He asked, clearly concerned about her. She tried nodding while coughing but I was unconvinced. When she finally stopped coughing my father handed her one of the cups of what I'm assuming is tea on the table. She drank it down gratefully and took a few deep breaths.
"Thank you, Ray-san." She gave a small smile, though her voice was a bit raspy. "Don't worry, I've been consulting a doctor, I'll be alright." She assured.
'I hope so.' I reached out to her and she grabbed my little hands. I wrapped my fingers around two of hers.
"I'll take your word for it." He nodded to her. "Guess we better get going, though. The boys still outside?" He asked and she nodded. He started for the door and Esra's fingers slipped from mine. "I'll be seeing you, Esra." He said in goodbye.
'I hope to see her again someday...I'll ask her about my mom.' I thought solemnly. As he stepped through the doorway the cloudless sky was set off in beautiful colors from sunset. Picture perfect really.
"Come on boys. Time to get going." My father called out.
"Awe, do we have to leave already?" Shanks whined. I looked over to them, this time it was only him, Buggy, Sinbad, and…
'Holy shit, that's Badr! Sinbad's dad!' I blinked a few times making sure I wasn't seeing things. 'Wait, he still has his leg. Was there no war for him to lose it in? Will that change Badr's personality and in turn Sinbad's?' The questions flooded my mind. I shook my head, earning an odd look from my father. 'No sense in worrying about it, we'll just have to see.'
"Yes, it's time to get going. Thanks for making friends with them, Sinbad." My father said, ruffling his purple hair. Sinbad smiled up at him like he was a star. "Now come on, Shanks, Buggy. We've gotta get back to the ship and set sail."
"Aww!" Buggy and Shanks groaned in unison. They bumped fists with Sinbad while my father shook hands with Badr.
"I'll see you again, old friend." Badr said, smiling brightly.
"You too." My father nodded and off we went. Being carried back through town at this hour was certainly different. The small stalls were now closed and the street was clearer and it looked like night clubs and bars were packed now. Some restaurants here and there were bustling with business as well.
'I can't wait to start eating normal food and not just milk everyday.' I looked to one restaurant that had people cooking at the tables. It was amazing to see them cooking with magic, throwing fire and water around. It was interesting to see them use magic, and odd too. Back in my first life there was no magic but there was still technology. I wondered what this world holds alongside magic.
'Will there even be technological advances? If there is, how advanced would it be? They certainly have flying ships and buildings are modern enough.' I thought, looking to the beautiful sky. 'They're not planes but in my first life they certainly didn't have flying zeppelins like that, either.' I yawned, stretching out in my father's arms. 'We'll see.'
"Awe, are you restless Bo Bo?" My father asked, smiling fondly at me.
'Of course I'm restless! I'm an adult in a baby's body!' I mentally roared, flailing my arms around in a mini temper tantrum.
"Well, guess what?" He said and I halted my flailing, looking up to him intently. "We're going to Dire Wolf Island next, isn't that great?" He said matter-of-factly, like I knew where he meant.
'Yes...Bring a baby to an island full of, what was it? Dire wolves?' I mentally rolled my eyes. 'But then again, this is Dark King Rayleigh. The one who left Luffy on an island full of monsters to learn how to use his conqueror's haki.' I huffed and my father laughed heartily at my reaction. I focused my attention back on the town as he carried me, watching the people that passed by. A man walking with a small flame in his hand caught my attention and it surprised me when he was simply lighting the lanterns that lined the streets. 'Neat.'
"We're going to have so much fun there." My father hummed happily.
'Well...Fuck.' I huffed again.
