Night had descended long ago, however the world was still burning brightly. The screams of women, men, children and the elderly echoed throughout the burning city.
Those, who still could control their Essence, tried opening a path for others to escape, however, it was futile - The Alliance was too strong.
Their deaths only served as a showcase to mankind how helpless they were now.
How weak and helpless they are without the Essences provide by the Gods And Constellations.
Excitement filled the eyes of the Alliance soldier's eyes. This was the day they dreamed of. The day mankind was wiped out.

Somewhere deep in the city.
A huge crowd of survivors could be seen, some were injured, but none seriously. Crates of supplies were stacked upon one another. A woman, with light platinum blonde hair walked into the room with another man, a young boy, both of who had raven black hair. However, the boy took after his mother's eyes - Sea green. Following behind them was an older girl, she inherited her mother's light platinum blonde hair and her father's, sapphire blue eyes.
The survivors who could, immediately knelt down and shouted "Long Live the Emperor, Empress!"
The Empress smiled lightly, and said, "You were all chosen for a reason. Be it your marksmanship ability, your knowledge, your cooking ability, or anything else. The Empire needs you. We need you. Our Empire is the last to fall, but we will be the first to emerge from the ashes. The Empires last contained essence will be used to teleport you into the Wilds. It will be dangerous, are you up for the task?"
After questioning them, the survivors all shouted ," YEAH!"
"From this day forth, the 'North Sea Empire' will cease to exist. We need to leave before the Alliance finds there way into here."
After saying this the Empress began commanding every and making sure everyone was in place.
The survivors and the royal family began chanting in an unknown language.
As they did so, a bright purple light was emitted from each of their bodies, signifying the start of the teleportation Essence.
As the light increased in intensity, the number of people in the room began to decrease untill no one was left.
Shortly after, the sounds of the chamber being opened could be heard. Following this, Alliance soldiers poured into the room with the Alliance leaders.
After noticing no one was in the chamber, the leaders ordered the soldiers to search the room for any clues.
Not too long later, a soldier returned with a beautifully crafted medallion. After seeing this medallion, the Alliance leaders were angered being belief. This medallion, encrusted with a purple dragon, represented the Empress' authority. It was the North Sea Empire's national symbol.
"That bitch escaped! How?" One of the leaders screamed in anger and demanded. "She couldn't have escaped far, find that Empress and her family. They must die." Before commanding the soldiers.

"I don't think they would have liked your 'gift'" The emperor smirked at his wife.
The Empress laughed and said "No" before turning to the crowd in front of her, "We must make camp before we encounter any danger arises. Knights, set a defensive perimeter. Hunters, set traps and alert the Knights of their locations. Survivalist, take the supplies out and begin setting up camp. Everyone else clear a large area for use, collect any dry sticks as well."
After finishing, the crowd began to disperse before going off to do their tasks.
She turned to her children and said "Eliza, you must protect your brother well. Carsein, you must protect your sister well. You must take care of each other, it's a dangerous place out here."
Eliza and Carsein, who were 14 and 8, nodded their heads seriously and said, "We will Mother"
The Empress smiled, "Good"
[\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/]
Carsein stared at the Elf in front of him. It had light brown hair, pale mint green eyes, very pointy ears and a very pale complexion, she was very beautiful.
They were both shocked to see one anther for a second before the end began to run away.
"Shit!" Carsein muttered before racing after the Elf.
He knew that if she escaped, their position would be revealed to the Alliance.
After pursuing her for a long time, Carsein finally caught up, he knew these woods, she however did not.
He pounced on top of her and restricted her movements.
Tears started to well up in her eyes as she began crying, "*Hic* Do.. Don't... P...please Don't kill me!" She shouted, "I don't wanna die, please don't kill me, I don't wanna die, please don't kill me..." The Elf repeated the phrase over and over again like a mantra, she struggled, however, Elf were born with frail bodies and thus couldn't withstand strenuous activity, she began breathing heavily as she couldn't keep up anymore.
Her eyes stared at the dagger against her throat as if looking at it would stop it from going through.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Carsein gave the Elf a murderous as he tightened his grip onto the dagger.
The Elf squealed. " I- I'm Nireh. The... The Giants have gotten more arrogant after the last Empire fell, they believe that all lands should be theirs, they began invading the other races and enslaving them. The first race was the dwarves. I ran as soon as the second race - the Fae became enslaved, so did my clansmen. I ran to the Wilds as I believed that I wouldn't be caught, however, nature has been urging me to run. There's only one reason, the Giants are here."
After hearing the last sentence, it was like an explosion happened in his head.
He grabbed rope from his backpack and tied her up before knocking her unconscious before making his way back to camp.
He made sure to take a difficult path to follow in case they were being followed.
After arriving, he made is way straight to his mother's cabin.
"Mother, I found an Elf in the Wilds earlier. They were in the the 13th section and I was originally going to kill her, however, she brings news and she also has an interesting ability"
The Empress, who was originally mad at Carsein looked up with interest, "Oh? do tell"
"The Giants have begun enslaving the other races, they began with the Dwarves, then moved onto the Fae. Nireh, the Elf and her clansmen fled to the Wilds after the Fae were enslaved. The Nature Spirits favour her and have helped her escape the Giants previously. She was leaving the 13th section because the Giants are closing in. With her ability, we can flee the Giants and increase our power over time, enough to fight back. If we find the other Elves from her clan, we can ask them to help."
The Empress looked worried at this recent piece of news before saying, "This isn't good. How do you know the Elves will help?"
"It's obvious, the Elves are a peaceful race, they only helped in the last war because they were being threatened by the other races to help them. They value self preservation. However, times are different, with us, they will be able to claim their land back and get revenge. Plus all Elves are blessed."
"Alright"
[\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/][\/]
"Come on sis, you can do it" Carsein smiled at Eliza as he held her hand.
Her husband held the other, whilst a female Elf helped to deliver the baby.
She screamed as she pushed and pushed. The hands holding hers were nearly turning purple from all the pain they were put under, yet they didn't utter a word of pain.
After a long time, a baby born with blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes was born. He seemed healthy, however, on his collar bone, a symbol could be seen, it was a circle with a line going through it and at the top, where the line and circle meets there is 'v'. After seeing this, he commanded the guard outside the room to go collect his father and mother, and to tell them it is important.
5 minutes later, the Emperor and Empress arrived in the room and asked for what's wrong. Carsein showed them the baby's collarbone, and a gasp could be heard from both of them.
Eliza asked, "Is that what I think it is?"
Her mother and father said," Yes, yes it is. Your son has been marked by the Gods and Constellations. What's his name?"
"Ezran!" Eliza said whilst smiling.
