Lucy looked around but unfortunately, there was nothing she could use to cut the rope that was binding her. Then her eyes spotted a door not far from the bed. She narrowed her eyes; this room was dark and there was no light coming from either the lamp or the nearby window. It made one thing clear: it was now past seven, so the sky was already dark outside.

Having trouble to move around with her hands tied up to the bed, she sighed. She tried to remain calm at all cost. She remembered what Aubrey had told her. This was just a diversion. She would be saved later. They just needed time. Getting into her train of thoughts, Lucy didn't notice the door being opened slowly.

"You're awake.", said a man she knew so well. Her kidnapper. The one who knocked her unconscious at the parking lot.
