"Why didn't you tell me you're here early?", Lucy opened her office door with her key card. Then allowing her grandfather to come inside.
She just arrived at the hospital, and it was just eight in the morning. She put down her handbag on her desk then went to her grandfather who was already seated on the couch.
"Do you want some drink?", she asked while getting closer to her grandfather.
"No need, I'll go back soon.", Charles Kim smiled towards his precious granddaughter. She really was his favourite. She was kind, thoughtful and also strong. She was able to come this far by her own strength. Being the head of her department without his help.
Lucy took a seat beside Charles, she held his arm carefully.
"Is there something wrong? You wouldn't want to see me so early just for fun right?", Lucy started drinking her chocolate milk from which she bought at the vending machine before she came here.
Charles Kim took a breather and he sighed.
