"Umpf~!"
Lucy stretched her arms and legs on the soft mattress. It was a nice day to play dead and lazing around since it was weekend.
"So soft~", she chuckled when her cheek met with the softness of cushion. Then she rolled over with her back on the bed and her eyes trailing over the white ceiling. The light of the afternoon sun was clear throughout the entire room. And the ticking sound of the clock was slow and steady, it went on for quite some time.
Then she sighed.
Aubrey wasn't here.
He was busy with his work and had no time to get a day off even on weekends. He was newly appointed after all, there's so much he had to deal with.
Lucy became gloomy not long after she realized she was all alone. This huge and glamorous penthouse was not her cup of tea. She rather stayed in Kalla Villa with Aubrey.
"What do I do today..?", she asked herself, bored. Should she go to his company and stay with him like a few days ago?
