Olivia took her phone out and she called her best friend immediately. She really wanted to know more about that young master Lee. And how her brother was in contact with him. With the news about Min Corporation acquiring the stocks.. what was going on?
"Lucy- hear this, Liam knows your boyfriend and they were talking on the phone just now!", she said, just like a paparazzi reporting a scandal.
Lucy just arrived at the hospital and she was on her way to her department when Olivia called her and reported what she had seen.
"Relax Olivia, both of them are businessmen. They will cross path sooner or later. In this case, Liam just happened to befriend Aubrey when we were moving to another house.", Lucy said as she shook her head slowly.
She felt terrible to have to lie to her best friend. But she had no choice. Olivia was too loose with her mouth and if she got to know they're already married and Liam is the only one who knows, Olivia would kill her in a heartbeat.
"Another house?! You mean-"
"We're living together, yes. And it's not at my place in Kalla Villa."
Olivia covered her mouth with her palm. She was shocked but at the same time she felt sad.
"HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME?!", her scream was loud enough to make Lucy dizzy. Some people near the hallway turned their heads to Lucy in wonder.
"Sorry my dear! I'm sorry!", Lucy pleaded while she tried to keep her voice as down as possible.
"I told you about Joe Ahn but you just kept quiet when it comes to your partner?!", Olivia clenched her fist. She was so going to make a roasted chicken with BBQ sauce today. With Lucy being the chicken to be roasted.
"It's not that I'm not telling you! I just had no time-", Olivia cut her words halfway.
"Is it SereneHeights?", Olivia asked, her voice deep serious.
".. huh? Yeah?", Lucy raised her brow, how did she know?
Hearing a 'yeah' from Lucy made Olivia slapped her forehead. What the hell.. Her brother actually bought the most expensive penthouse not for a woman but for a man..? And that man was Aubrey Lee, who was also Lucy's boyfriend?
"You're staying there..?", Olivia asked her carefully.
"Uh huh..?", Lucy couldn't catch Olivia's intention for asking her about this.
"Do you know how that boyfriend of yours got the apartment?"
"Huh? Of course, he bought it.", Lucy frowned when Olivia started questioning.
"Oh no.."
"What?"
Olivia's eyes became the biggest in history. She was too shocked to even think straight. Her brother bought the house_not for a woman but for a man_that man bought it from him_that man brought his girlfriend over to stay_her brother talking on the phone early in the morning with the man.
In her mind, it could be translated to:
Her brother bought the house_specially for the man(Aubrey)_the man(Aubrey) bought the house using his body_the man(Aubrey) brought Lucy to the house to show off_her brother talking on the phone with the man(Aubrey) early in the morning to have an affair!
"NOOOOO WAYYYYYYY!", Olivia yelled for dear life when she registered the idea in her head.
"Don't tell me.. the rumor is actually true?!!"
"What? Which rumor? Hey- are you okay? Olivia!", Lucy was ignored and before she could say something, Olivia received a call.
"Oh, someone's calling me. Be right back!", Olivia ended the call and she left Lucy speechless.
Lucy stood by the center of the hallway, preventing some people to walk past her. They stared at her with weird eyes and strange thought.
"What's wrong with her?", Lucy then put her phone back in her purse and ran to her office since she was running late.

Olivia's ridiculous thought between her brother and Aubrey made headlines in her mind. She couldn't even remember asking about their company and Lee Group's stocks affair.
"Hello? Olivia speaking.", Olivia answered the call from an unknown number and she waited for a reply.
"It's me, Joe Ahn.", a man's voice was heard through the call. It almost made her puke.
"Joe- Joe Ahn?!", she tried regaining her standing again. How did he know her number?! No wait.. Lucy asked her back then and she actually gave him her number?!
'Lucy you cheater!', she cursed her best friend in her head multiple times. All her deduction regarding her brother and Aubrey vanished into thin air.
"Yes, me. Last time when I sent you back, I forgot to ask for your number. Is your car alright?", Joe asked politely as he was actually nervous. He got Olivia's number from Lucy some time ago but he didn't dare give her a call. Now seemed like a good time (?). So he decided to brace his fate.
Olivia on the other hand, tried so hard to appear calm. Her heart felt like jumping out of her system and she felt shy out of the blue.
'No way.. get a hold of yourself, me!', she knocked her head softly with her knuckles.
"Um.. so why are you calling me, Mr. Ahn? Is there anything I can do for you?", Olivia's flustered self was trying so much to sound sincere, she managed to find a good piece of sentence to say to him.
"No need to be formal with me, we were on blind date once after all.", Joe said while he struggled not to laugh. Her voice was cute and funny. It was obvious that she was also nervous.
That incident where he saved her from the stupid thug clearly made his name prosper. Now she must be very thankful and they would easily become fast friends.
"Oh yeah- sorry. So I guess I should thank you..?", Olivia bit her bottom lip and her cheek grew slightly red. She wanted to know him more but after he sent her home, they lost contact with each other that it saddened her.
"Hm.. only a thank you?"
"Huh?"
"Why don't you treat me to a meal and we call it even?", he said. Being shameless for once wouldn't do him harm, he thought.
Olivia closed her dropped jaw and she didn't notice her smiling like an idiot. He wanted to meet! Hell yeah! She was depressed for the past dew days since she didn't have any contact information to reach him. And her pride wouldn't allow her to message him through social media. Now he came to her himself! She could use this chance to properly thank him for his help.
"It's a good idea, I agree! Let me treat you. Where are we going?", she sounded excited over the phone that it made him want to hug her and pinch her cheek.
For once, Olivia was thankful to Lucy for butting in and giving him her contact info.
