Chapter 40 - Chapter 39: Seeking out a new world

Wang Tian smiled and then he grabbed her hand and then pushed her body closer to him. "Don't you believe me?"

Shu Mingzhu's face went red and she blurted out, "Scoundrel!"

Wang Tian flicked her forehead, laughed and said, "I like that"

He let go of her and then said, "My Queen, I shall go now. The punishment's over right?"

Shu Mingzhu looked at him angrily. She wanted to lash out on him but she quickly decided against it as even though this shameless man took advantage of her, he was still her junior. Her pride forbade her from doing so.

"Hmp. Fine. You can go!" Shu Mingzhu said.

Wang Tian laughed and then vanished.

Shu Mingzhu looked at the spot where Wang Tian was in and said,

"Hmp. He's lucky that he's my junior. Otherwise, I would've sliced his guts out!"

...

On his way back, Wang Tian went to Wang Jhiayi's house. The place was filled with countless trees and beautiful flowers. Whilst the walls were all dazzling and enchanting to the eyes. Wang Jhiayi's house was much bigger than Wang Tian's house as there were three of them staying in the house.

He knocked on the door and yelled out, "Cousin Jhiayi!"

A figure clad in white appeared in his line of sight. The figure was very beautiful and her body was shaped like an S. This was Wang Yuyan, his aunt.

"Tian'er, what are you doing here?" She asked with a wonderful smile.

"I'm here to see Cousin Jhiayi Auntie. Where is he?" Wang Tian said.

"Oh, he's at the back with his father. Come on in." Wang Yuyan said.

Wang Tian nodded and then went towards the back of the house with Wang Yuyan. The back of Wang Jhiayi's house was rather spacious. It was a grassland that extends to about tens of tens of Li.

Wang Tian was instantly greeted by winds as he saw Wang Jhiayi and Wang Chen sparring.

The two weren't using any of their qi but only their physical body since Wang Jhiayi would clearly be killed in an instant if Wang Chen used his qi. But even so, it was still a one sided match.

Wang Chen's face was indifferent as he threw a straight towards his son. Wang Jhiayi quickly ducked but his father already saw this coming. His movement was swift and exceptionally clean. He spun and in an instant, the hand that threw a straight was now in his son's face.

'What speed!' Wang Tian thought to himself.

Wang Jhiayi flew twenty meters back and then stumbled on the ground. He coughed up a mouthful of blood while his face became pale.

Wang Chen looked at him and then his indifferent expression disappeared. He quickly rushed over to his son and then said, "Aiya! Looks like I've over done it! Hear my boy, take this pill."

He quickly fed Wang Jhiayi a mid-grade healing pill to alleviate his injuries a bit. In the blink of an eye, Wang Jhiayi's face became rosy again. Wang Chen helped him up and then laughed.

"Looks like you'll have to do better next ti-"

Just when he was about to finish what he was about to say, he felt pain in his stomach and just like his son, he flew a few meters back.

Wang Tian looked at the scene in shock.

"I told you to be careful you! Why'd you bully my son!??" Wang Yuyan screamed angrily.

Wang Tian looked beside him and then looked at Wang Yuyan who was currently sizing up her son to see if there were any injuries.

His pupils constricted as he felt enormous shock. 'How powerful and fast! She was just beside me but in an instant, she already sent uncle flying?' Wang Tian thought to himself.

He didn't have any memory about Wang Yuyan's cultivation base or how powerful was she. He just knew that he was one of his closest kin. She always appeared to be calm and gentle. He didn't expect thT she would suddenly burst with power.

"Ouch! That hurt honey!" Wang Chen cried out as he picked himself up.

Wang Yuyan glared at him and then turned to her son, "Jhiayi'er, are you hurt?"

"I'm okay mom." Wang Jhiayi answered.

"Hmp! Who dares bully my son when I'm around!?" Wang Yuyan said.

Wang Tian felt like there were butterflies in his stomach. He couldn't contain it any longer. He burst into laughter. His laughter was like a bell to Wang Jhiayi's ears. He finally noticed that there was another person around. His face became red from embarrassment as he distanced himself from his mother.

"My Jhiayi'er has grown up! His mother can't hold him any longer." She said and then sighed. She said this on purpose to tease his son.

Wang Jhiayi acted angry and then glared at her mother. Wang Yuyan quickly shut her mouth and then turned to Wang Chen.

"Cousin Tian! What are you doing here?" Wang Jhiayi asked as he tidied himself.

Wang Tian looked at his cousin and then teased, "Oh, my little Jhiayi'er, what happened to your face? Do you want your big brother here to help you clean up?"

"SHUT UPP!" Wang Jhiayi growled.

Wang Tian again, burst into laughter. Tears were falling down from his eyes.

Seeing his cousin like this, Wang Jhiayi also laughed.

After a few moments Wang Jhiayi said,

"For real though, What are you doing here?"

"Uhm, I have something to talk to you about." Wang Tian seriously said.

Wang Jhiayi looked at his cousin's serious expression. He could tell that he wasn't joking. "Hey Father and Mother, Cousin Tian and I are going for a walk!" Wang Jhiayi yelled.

"Knock yourselves out" Wang Chen replied while Wang Yuyan simply nodded. Extremely opposite to what she showed before.

The two quickly left and then charged towards the near mountains. Wang Tian took a few turns than usual to make sure that no one was following them. His actions confused Wang Jhiayi.

After a few more turns, they quickly arrived at the place where Wang Tian stayed in seven years ago.

"Cousin Tian, what's going on? Why are you so cautious?" Wang Jhiayi couldn't help but ask.

Wang Tian looked from side to side, making sure that no one followed them.

"This matter is of grave importance." Wang Tian said.

He took out a light blue object. This object was shining and one look at it, one could infer that it was a very precious treasure. This was the dragon crystal that his Senior Long gave him!

"Cousin Tian, this is?..." Wang Jhiayi looked at the object and asked.

"This is a dragon crystal. It contains an immense amount of qi. It will greatly help you to increase your cultivation realm.

"Dragon Crystal?!" Wang Jhiayi cried out in shock.

"Shhh! Control your voice..." Wang Tian urged him.

Wang Jhiayi quickly shut his mouth and then whispered, "where the heck did you get a dragon crystal?"

Wang Tian didn't want to hide the truth but since he knew that it would implicate Wang Jhiayi greatly, he decided against telling him the truth.

"I'll tell you when we're stronger." Wang Tian replied.

Wang Tian handed the crystal to Wang Jhiayi and then also took out a bottle that contained a drop of blood.

"Cousin Jhiayi, this is a drop of blood from a dragon. Refine it and your bloodline will change to that of a dragon's!" Wang Tian handed the bottle to Wang Jhiayi unhesitatingly.

Wang Jhiayi felt waves in his heart. "Cousin Tian, I can't take this. These items are too precious. You should just use them for yourself..." He said. Although the items tempted him grealy, he still didn't want to take these things as they were really precious items. They were as rare as a Qilin's horn or a Phoenix's feather.

"Stop, there is no need to be like this between us brothers. You don't need to worry. They're of no use to me." Wang Tian said.

"Ah?" Wang Jhiayi replied.

"Cousin Jhiayi, this matter is very important. Destruction will rain upon us if we are found out." Wang Tian said.

Wang Jhiayi nodded and then said, "I swear to the Heavens and Earth that I will never tell anyone about what happened today. If I did, may the heavens and Earth smite me!"

The Heaven roared in acknowledgement.

Wang Tian nodded and then said, "Quickly refine it. Oh, and be careful when using the dragon crystal since you might explode just from the sheer amount of qi inside."

After a bit more praises from Wang Jhiayi, Wang Tian left the mountain while his cousin stayed. They decided that the mountain was the best place to refine the blood since it was relatively safe.

Looking at Wang Tian's disappearing figure, Wang Jhiayi bowed to himself, "I will become stronger so that I can protect Cousin Tian in the future!"

...

Outside the Wang residence, three figures could be seen drinking from a gourd.

"Brother Wang! This wine of yours is very exquisite!" HS said as he drank a mouthful of wine from his gourd.

"Yes Brother Wang! I daresay that this wine of yours can rank amongst the top three wines that I have ever tasted in my entire life!" Senior Golem said.

"Hm? Only top three?" Wang Gui replied with a smile.

"Hey Brother Wang, don't mind it! Being praised of having wine that ranks amongst top three is not bad!" HS comforted his brother.

"But where did you get this wine? What's its name?" HS asked.

"Oh, I brewed it and its name is Galaxy Dew Wine." Wang Gui replied.

"What?! You brewed this?" Senior Golem said in shock.

"Yes? Why is that shocking to you? Martial Dao isn't the only exciting thing in life. There are millions of other daos out there. I've lived for so long that I discovered that, to enjoy life, you must pursue other things. I just happened to like cooking food and brewing wine. That's all." Wang Gui earnestly replied and then drank a mouthful from his gourd.

"Ah. I forgot. Hehe" Senior Golem said with a laugh.

"It looks like you've been stuck at Master's tomb for so long that your head is starting to accumulate dust hahaha" HS teased with a laugh.

Senior Golem harrumphed but didn't say a word.

"Am I interrupting something?" A voice said. The voice naturally came from Wang Tian. After he gave Wang Jhiayi the dragon crystal and the bottle that contains a drop of dragon blood, he quickly sped towards his house.

"Ah son, no no. You aren't interrupting. We were just having laughs." Wang Gui said and he tossed his gourd that contained the Galaxy Dew Wine to Wang Tian.

Wang Tian drank a mouthful. In an instant, a very wonderful feeling attacked his entire body. 'What a fantastic wine!' he thought to himself.

He then drank another mouthful.

"Ahhh..." Wang Tian exclaimed. 'Truly wonderful wine! In earth, he wasn't allowed to leave much less be able to drink. He always had a craving to drinking wine but he never got a chance to satiate his needs since he died too suddenly. However, he was sure that there was not a single wine in earth that could match up to the wine in his hands.

Wang Tian was about to ask what the name of the wine was when his Senior HS interrupted him. "It's Galaxy Dew Wine and yes, your father made it." HS said.

Wang Tian felt speechless when he saw this. Senior Golem raised his hand and then chopped towards Senior HS's shoulder. "Don't be so disrespectful! He's still our young master!" Senior Golem berated.

Wang Tian laughed and then said, "Father, I want to go out and gain some experience."

Yes, this was what Wang Tian had planned to do. There was still five more months before the competition happened. This, he wanted to explore the world and then return when it's time. He knew that staying here in the sect wouldn't benefit him since killing fellow sect disciples wasn't an option. It would be pointless for him to stay here. Furthermore, he wanted to try his luck in finding materials that could heal his father's injury.

Wang Gui agreed to Wang Tian's request. Senior Golem volunteered to come with him. He decided against it but the Old Golem was adamant in his decision of going with him. Thus, he was forced to agree. HS wanted to come but alas, he didn't want to leave Wang Gui alone. More so, since the existence of the Galaxy Dew Wine was now known.
