"ALICE!"
The blonde-haired girl raised her head to the sound of her name being called, only to be met with a pair of concerned blue eyes rushing by before her body collapsed backward onto the soft grass.
"Oof," she heaved, "Spade?"
The pair of arms that wrapped around her petite waist felt like they were about to suffocate her. She could hardly breathe, flailing her own hands a little as she patted the man's back. The second prince, however, didn't seem like he had any intention of letting go.
"I… I can't― I can't breathe!" she choked out, struggling.
"Where were you?" Spade asked, finally bearing to tear himself away from Alice. He pulled her up by her shoulders, his hands gripping them firmly but not painfully. If anything, Spade looked more like a child who was afraid about his new toy getting stolen. "I thought I told you to stay in the carriage!"
"I did!" Alice feebly argued.
