"Well, no, but it also won't be a crime for them to kill you for entering," He laughed again. "Well, that's all the information I'm gonna give, don't die too soon or get raped. That would be unfortunate,"
"I'll try," I said and walked out the room. A soft wet spot nudged my face, I didn't need to look to know who it was. "White Bun, what is it?" I asked.
"I'm starving,"
"You won't die from missing one meal,"
"I missed two meals,"
"You won't die from that either, shut up now I'll get you some food," White Bun's violet eyes shook and tears glossed over his huge bubbly eyes. I walked to the Silver Spoon and walked to the front desk. "Hey, can I get one platter of boar meat and a bowl of chicken soup, please,"
"Sure," The woman smiled and left. I sat down at an empty table, tapping my finger on the rough wooden table. I continued tapping the table and sorting my thoughts, thinking of a plan of action for my stay in Falcosia. After a few minutes, our food came.
"Here's your food," The waitress smiled. "That'll be 2 silver coins and 2 copper coins,"
"Thank you," I handed her the money. "White Bun the meat is yours"
"Thank you, miss!" White Bun jumped onto the table and licked his lips. He pushed his muzzle into the food and eagerly gobbled it down. I ignored his antics and ate the thin plain soup in silence. After I ate, I stood up and got ready to leave, but just as I did I bumped into a solid wall. I looked up and was met with a pair of blue down-turned eyes. I took a step back and looked the man up and down. His maroon tinted lips were upturned into a small smirk. His upper body was exposed, revealing his tanned abs littered with deep scars as if he was airing it like a trophy. Flaming red hair donned his head, tied in a ponytail and flipped over his shoulder. An enormous sword tied to his back, the hilt peeking over his head.
I took another step back, and he took one towards me. I took two more steps back, and he did the same. A sigh escaped my lips as I stopped trying to back away from him. "Can I help you?" I looked up, meeting his sky-blue eyes.
"Yeah," He leaned forward, staring at my lips and licked his lips.
"I'm not interested," I recognized the look he was giving me and the thought of it shot shivers up my spine in disgust. Goosebumps flew across my skin and the hairs on the back of my neck stood at attention.
"In what?" I glanced around the restaurant; everyone's eyes were glued on the scene taking place.
"Sir, I'm in a hurry and you're causing a scene," I tried to walk around his body but he side-stepped to follow my movements.
"The name's Ralph," an arrogant smile tugged at the ends of his lips. "What's yours?"
I scrunched my nose up in disgust, "Lora," I lied with a humourless smile.
"Lora, lovely name except are you sure it's yours,"
"Why would you say that?" I narrowed my eyes and looked at him.
"Well, I did some asking around at the guild, the guy at the front desk said your name was...." He tapped his chin.
I groaned, my fiery breath crashing against my pink lips. "Indigo,"
"See not so hard now is it,"
"I'll be leaving now," I tried to side-step him again, but he stopped me again.
"You have some quests to do, right? I wanna come along," A mischievous grin spread across his face.
"No thanks, I go solo,"
"If you ever change your mind, come back to this restaurant," He waved me off, and let me pass. My eyes narrowed in suspicion, but I left the store.
"Miss, isn't that man suspicious?" White Bun poked my cheek and speculated.
"Yeah, it seems we won't be getting any peace and quiet anytime soon.
