Zio decided to leave, he could have just ignored the girl and let her decide her own fate by either dying here or breaking that badge and escaping but giving up her chance to enter the Academy.
But he decided to help her because he liked how stubborn she was, even though she knew she could die, she wanted to continue, it reminded him of his mother, she was just like that.
His memory was vague but he remembered an incident where he was just six years old he found himself in front of a Wild Beast, a Black Mountain Bear, these are bears that can stand 15' tall on its hind legs.
These bears are one of the biggest carnivorous wild beasts in the world.
Zio clearly remembered that day as his mother stood in front of him trying to fight the giant bear trying to protect him, even though she knew she could lose she didn't give up, she showed her pride and bravery there, luckily his Father soon arrived on the spot and killed the Beam
Well, the scenario right now was completely different from the one in his past, right now the girl is not protecting anyone but she did show the same stubbornness, pride, and bravery even when she was down on her knees.
Zio decided to help her.

The Girl was surprised to see the Hawk Monster being killed just like that, then she suddenly noticed the boy who saved her was about to leave as she saw him turn his back and walk away.
"WAIT"
She called out and quickly got to her feet.
Zio turned around and looked at the girl in confusion, since this matter was over and he has saved her why is he being stopped, he noticed the girl struggling to her feet and finally getting up before walking towards him.
"Thank you very much for saving my life"
She said and bowed her head at Zio and thanked him sincerely but to Zio, it didn't matter at all, to him it was just another monster that he killed, if he had met this monster before this girl he would have killed it anyway.
"It's ok"
Zio said and tried to walk away again but the girl stopped him again.
"Wait, I am not done yet, what is your name?"
She asked. She didn't know why this boy wants to walk away from her but she couldn't just let that happen, even if he was a stranger to her, he helped her by saving her life and also making sure that she will not miss her chance to get into the academy.
"I am Zio Asura"
He said.
"Asura? Is it some royal family?"
She asked as this was the first time she has heard of this family name, she did realize that the name matches with Mt. Asura, the unclimbable mountain but she has never heard of any clan or family living there.
"No, it's not, I am just a hunter's boy"
"I see, but that doesn't matter, you are my savior and my family owes you. Ah, I forgot to introduce my self, my name is Selistia Fernandes"
She said and bowed introducing herself like a lady she is, Zio just watched as he didn't understand all these things like courtesy and stuff, he wondered why is this girl bowing so much.
Zio only bowed against few people and that where his parents and grandpa and no one else.
Selistia thought that her sir name would surprise Zio but seeing his reaction she was a little disappointed, if people knew who she actually is, they would try to do their best to suck up to her and try to impress her, many would be happy for days even if she said a single word to them.
"Ok, then I will take my leave"
Zio said and turned away and started to walk, this time he had no intention to stop, Selistia is surprised once again, she realized that Zio really didn't care about her family name and he completely ignored her.
This pissed her off but she decided to calm down, what Zio did for her was too big of favor, she cannot be rude and disrespect someone who did her such a massive favor.

She said and put away her Religan and followed behind Zio, Zio turned his head and looked at Selistia.

Asura said and laughed.

He asked. He didn't understand what Asura said at all.

Asura said and laughed. Tempest just grumbled and decided to stay silent.
Zio ignored the two and continued walking down the forest.
"By the way, how much points do you have?"
Selistia suddenly asked. Since Zio killed that Hawk Monster so easily she wondered how much points Zio has.
"I don't know"
"So you didn't check it?"
She asked to which Zio shook his head admitting to it.
"I have about 3000 points, this should be able to put me in the top 10 easily. Since you could kill that Hawk monster, you should have a lot as well, how many monsters did you kill?"
She asked.
"I don't know, I lost count, there were too many"
This was his answer, Selistia sighed as she realized she could talk to this boy normally, she looked and him and realized that he looked like a brute, massive muscles, a big chest, thick forearms.
His body was ripped but he used a Bow, she also looked at his bow and knew that it was a Religan and could tell that it is a very powerful one as well, its beauty was something she has never seen before.
