The two sat down on the pile of grass near the lake and sat in a comfortable position.
"The woman was like any other woman, she had a very kind husband and a very simple life, she was a peasant who did not have any money other than the money to feed themselves despite the fact that they do not have any children they were happy with each other, every night the woman prays to the goddess of happiness to thank her for her blessings.
The Goddess was touched by the never ending faith of the woman so the goddess appeared infront of her that very night and gave her one wish that the goddess will grant.
The woman then said " I wish to follow my husbands soul when I am dead and when I am alive, I want to stay with him forever."
The goddess was once more shocked other people would have wished for riches and fame but what she wished for was heartwarming and showed how much she loved her husband. Then the goddess granted the woman a soul pact, even after death the soul of the woman will recognise the soul of his husband.
The very next day a noble carriage had visited the town of the womans place, A beautiful woman had stepped out of the carriage she had a white elegant dress and blue necklace. All of the people who lived in the town were mesmerized of the nobles beauty including the womans husband.
The noble and the womans husband gazed at each other intensely which the woman noticed but did not bother to suspect it. The noble woman smiled at the womans husband which melted his heart and the other peoples heart. Ever since the day the noble woman visited the town the womans husband had never payed attention to her, the husband went home very late and is only at home when its the afternoon, the woman had believed that he was just busy
doing work so she just let it slide.
A month had passed and nothing changed, the only thing that changed was that everytime the woman went close to her husband he would glare at her and even push her away, she thougth that he was angry because of work but 2 months later the noble woman had once again visited the town but the noble had now a slight bulge in her belly. The noble woman went into the womans house and said.
"This child I am carrying is your husbands son."
"What?!"
The woman did not believe what the noble woman was saying, she swore together with her husband that they will love each other forever. how could a stranger say such absurb things.
"I am going to marry him and bring him to the capital."
"What are you saying?."
"Are you deaf? No wonder he chose me over you."
The noble woman gave a sinister laugh and smiled, her innocent looks could easily fool other people but not her.
"My husband would never cheat on me!."
The noble woman once again gave a wicked laugh but was more louder than the first.
"Listen here, Men only want three things."
She flicked her thumb and said " first, is money" she flicked her pointing finger "second, is fame" she flicked her middle finger and said for the last time " third, is sex!."
"He is different from all of them!."
She shouted unable to hold her anger, tears were flowing down on her cheeks her face became pale and his lips were bloody from biting his lips.
"Says from a woman who never pleasured his husband."
"Y-You!,How could you!."
The woman went infront of the noble woman and grabbed her shoulders as hard as she can. she feared that if she slapped the noble woman she might not be left unharmed.
The door banged and the womans husband appeared, his face was full of anger and wrath.
"Husband..." the woman said with full of sorrow. The woman had thougth that he would deny all the claims the noble woman had said to her but she was wrong.
"Do not touch her with your filthy hands!,"
The womans husband screamed in anger slapping the womans face .
"The baby in her belly is my child and I will marry her and live in the capital."
He held the hand of the noble woman escorting her out of the shabby house while saying "lets get out or else our baby will get hurt by that wench."
The woman had fallen into her knees by the slap but the pain did not compare on how she felt right now, the woman had cursed the noble lady for seducing her husband, they were happy at first they did not want anything else other than themselves, no riches nor fame after the woman appeared all of it changed, she despised the woman for changing her husband but did not once blame the fault on her husband. She died 4 months later because of starvation.
Years later she was reincarnated and once again married her husband until it became a cycle."
