PAC, or Pacific – Asian Coalition, is a regional intergovernmental organization comprising of sixteen nation-states, which promotes cooperation and integration in economics, politics, security, socio-culture, education, and military. PAC is built upon the foundation of ASEAN Plus Five during the early 21st century and comes into effect with the singing of RCP (Regional Comprehensive Co-operation) on September 19th, 2089. This is one of the twelve political power blocs on Earth.
PAC regularly engages in diplomatic works around the world and each individual partner is heavily invested in trading worldwide. The organization also maintains a global network of alliances and dialogue partners, and considered as a diplomatic powerhouse, playing a key role in stabilizing multiple conflicts within and without the region.
Currently, PAC has sixteen member-states. The PAC Secretariat is located in Jakarta, Indonesia, PAC Peacekeeping force and Rescue service High Command is built in Da Nang, Viet Nam. The nexus of PAC technology and science is built in Tokyo, Japan. The exchange of culture is facilitated through various museums and theaters of the organization.
Economic-wise, PAC is rank third (after HO and USNA), an equal position with the SF. However, unlike other countries, there is no unified military force of PAC (though, there is a united command, focusing on carrying out peacekeeping missions of UN as well as local rescue service and anti-piracy, anti-smuggling operations)

PAC is built upon the foundation of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), which was preceded by the ASA (Association of Southeast Asia). ASEAN was officially chartered on 8 August 1967 with the ratification of the ASEAN Declaration. Originally, the creation of ASEAN was motivated by the fear of communism (especially during the Second Indochina War, famously known as Vietnam War, and Third Indochina War, which includes Vietnam – Cambodia War and Vietnam – China War). The end of the Cold War in 1991 saw the end of such an idea and the participation of communist-led countries, including Laos and Vietnam. By 1999, ASEAN received the last member, Cambodia.
During the early 21st century, ASEAN began her rise, most notably to counter the expansion of the People's Republic of China into the South China Sea. ASEAN also promotes free trade among its members as well as with nearby countries. Medical and health, as well as social security, also became a key parameter and topic during and after the pandemics of 2020 and 2035.
Following the Third Great Depression in 2075, ASEAN experienced setbacks from political instability in Oceania (which finalized in four new countries from the base of old ones: Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia) as well as Second Korean War (which saw both Korea states being driven into the orbit of China, which then formed up a part of Hegemony of Oriental). To counter this, the member-states of ASEAN increased internal trading as well as co-operation with other countries, especially the four newly formed countries of Oceania, as well as Japan, and the Republic of Taiwan (who has abandoned the claim of "being Chinese").
The co-operation between the future members of PAC slowly but surely reached the level of "comprehensive", and per suggestion from Vietnam, the negotiation began to finalise and made the practice official. The withdraw of the United States of North America from being a "world police" (continuing the trend of the United States of America since mid-century) as well as the aggressive expansion and development of Hegemony of Oriental accelerated the process. On September 19th, 2089, the Regional Comprehensive Co-operation was officially signed and ratified, creating the political bloc known as "PAC".

The most notable technology developed after the formation of PAC is widely considered to be the Gravitic thruster "Raijin" (Thunder God, 雷神 in Japanese). This is a key component for quick, efficient, and easy ground-to-sub-orbit transport. Most, if not all, drop ships on Earth are being equipped with this drive or derivatives. The most common variant is Thruster Type 05B (produced under license in HO).
While not as robust as the pre-fabricated module of the SF or CoR, the modules built by PAC are recognized for their ergonomics as well as material efficiency. It should be noted that there are two main variants used by PAC, one developed by Japan, and the other by cooperation between former ASEAN states. The first one while inherently better lacks the modularity and room for customization, meanwhile, the second one is more affordable (which leads to purchase from AU) as well as having a great range of personalization from individual customers.
