Chapter 2 - The Process

As I arrived I saw the boss looking in my direction and giving me the stink eye since I was the bottom of the bottom I had to deal with the most shit . He yells out to me I ignore it and keep working easily breaking down the rocks that would have given me trouble the day prior a testament to my newfound abilities, hours pass by and it gets really quiet I stop and look around and notice every staring at me with shock and I look around and notice iv done 20 people's worth of work in a day. the manager calls the end of the shift ,on my way out one of the top dogs usher me into a corner and spout some bulshit about why I ignored them and that I have to learn my place im not really listening so that pisses them off and the attack me I come to the decision that I'm going to have to kill and feed eventually so with that realization I decide to fight. as he swings I see it everything slow down not drastically but by around 15% so I begin to evade on one of his swings. I see an opening so I extend my arm and wrap it around his and snap it, than I grab his neck and snap it the other two mongrels piss theirselves and begin to run but before they can I extract my nails and shred their necks. As they lay their dead I decide to get it over with so I I extract my teeth and pierce into their necks.i feel a rush of energy flow throughout my body and suddenly feel slightly stronger . Suddenly I hear something and realize I have advanced hearing to go with my night vision and someone might have heard the commotion and come to investigate to sate their curiosity, possibly even the authorities, I realize even with my newfound abilities I shouldn't press my luck against any of the gifted because I am still learning and don't know how to utilize my abilities efficiently and I probably still have some more abilities I haven't discovered yet ,so I jump on top of one of the buildings . As I jump from rooftop to rooftop looking at the city lights and the people rushing across the city streets making my way home I can't help but feel vindicated by what the future holds in store.
