After dinner, Mr. K and Clara immediately went home because they didn't want to linger there.
Mr. K knew someone had been following him, and Clara continuously since earlier.
After Mr. K looked in the rearview mirror to make sure someone behind his car was really following their car, Mr. K accelerates the car's speed.
"Hold on, I can't explain it to you, but you will still believe in me, right?" whispered Mr. K in a tone that didn't sound too panicked, but Clara was sure that something was wrong.
Clara nodded her head while holding on to the handle at Mr. K's car.
"I've always trusted you," Clara said firmly.
Clara was sure that Mr. K didn't want to tell her what really happened, so she had to believe that Mr. K can anticipate it.
Mr. K smiled briefly while occasionally glancing at Clara.
"I have a surprise for you, and maybe you will be able to feel comfortable there," said Mr. K was short without looking at Clara.
