Alina reacted first and felled him with her bow.
Once more, there was no reaction from the people.
"What's going on?" Ruby asked, feeling very creeped out.
"Whatever it is, I don't like it." Alina responded, picking up the small body of the girl and handing it to Salem for recycling.
Salem looked around, hoping Alina would get the message.
She did and led them into a convinient alleyway.
Salem recycled the corpse and was shocked to see an ability notification.
"What's wrong?" Alina asked, noting his expression.
"I got an ability from her." Salem said.
"What is it?" Ruby asked.

'Well, my psyche regen is a percent per second now.' Salem thought before telling the girls what skills and classes he could teach.
"It's likely that if I teach you a class it becomes your secondary class." Salem said.
"I want to learn Necromancy!" Alina exclaimed. "That would fit in well with my current class."
Salem agreed and began explaining how she should go about summoning her first Spirit Familiar, how to store them, etc.
Alina began asking questions he didn't have easy answers to after a short while.
"If you can summon a corpse out of nothing, why can't you make the corpse out of different materials and call it a golem?" She asked.
Salem thought for a moment and began wondering how he would go about that.
"It probably has to do with the fact that it needs to be able to hold the 'soul' I put in it." He said. "Perhaps if I were to make it so it had a similar shape and internal organs and such, it might work."
When he created a corpse that would fight for him, he created a 'soul' that would act as a medium for him to control it. Not everything can house it as a human body could bind the 'soul' to it and not much else could bind it like a human.
He expirimented with the bricks around them.
Showing her how he was able to shape it with psyche but couldn't place the medium into it.
He then shaped its insides to resemble a human's and tried to place a medium into it, to no avail.
"What if the soul resides in the skull?" Ruby asked suddenly. "As in, the brain."
Salem noted that he had not created an internal structure for the head and did two expiriments.
He shaped the head of the golem he already had given organs and created another one with just an intricate internal skull structure.
Both golems worked, to Salem's shock.
"Interesting." Salem said, rubbing his chin and dismissing both golems. "Anyway, I think we ought to get out of this city as my bugs see almost a dozen men coming for this alley."
