"There we go," Lillian said, pinning a brooch that Vaille had given her on the dress. "What do you think?"
She twirled for Roman who sat on the couch, watching her with an endearing smile on his face.
"You look lovely." he said, "It is just a shame that you cannot wear other dresses."
"It would have been more of a shame if my dress was not the most beautiful one out there," Lillian said, winking at him as she snapped her fingers.
The dress began to become a little brighter in sparkle and colour. "There. It looks slightly different now. Besides, I was wearing a cloak over this the entire time. Not everyone has seen this dress before."
"You are right about that," he said, tracing the marking on her chest with his hands as Lillian slapped them away.
"Your hands are cold."
"Apologies," he said. "I don't know what I was thinking. But, will you leave that out to be displayed?"
