"May the lig-" Ray began, greeting the king but he held his hands up to stop him.
"May I know what business you may have with the prisoner?" Sappire asked, towering over everyone as he looked around the room.
"I hear of some things from the people that came back here and I have some questions I need to ask her," Ray said, not giving away any hint of his true intentions.
"That is right, you did not come with us to the temple." Sappire continued, walking forward. "Were you busy?"
"I was in town." He said, "There was a mysterious fog there and frightened the people just a little bit. I was busy checking on that. I apologise that I was not there when the attack happened."
"It was a very odd attack if I do say so myself," Sappire said, looking at Ray with a hint of suspicion but that disappeared in an instant.
"I have heard," Ray said with an amused look on his face. "Many of the guards can't stop talking about it."
