After about half an hour, Aria gently whispered in Helen's ear, "Come on Helen, get up. You need to escape."
"How are we escaping?" Helen asked, abruptly sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "We are not escaping. You are escaping. And I am going to stall here for time." Aria whispered urgently as she helped Helen up from the bed and said, stripping off the sheet, "Come on. Take off your clothes and wrap these around your body."
"Huh?" Helen was clearly not following, being unable to see what Aria was doing.
"Oh for god's sake!!" Aria muttered as she hurriedly stripped Helen and securely wrapped the bed sheet along the length of her body, securing it at the waist by Helen's belt.
"What are you doing?" Helen asked.
Aria took Helen by the shoulders and said, "I will make sure anyone entering the room after you've gone doesn't know you've escaped. Now, listen carefully to what you have to do."
By this time, Helen was perfectly awake and nodded, listening carefully, "I'm going to use bending to help you escape. Wind will be very noticeable and expected, so you'll be going underground. Use your earth bending to make an armor as soon as you're underground, and then I'll move you to your home. Once you are there, immediately call for help and get yourself safe. I can't guarantee no one will notice that you are gone. Though I will try my best. And, once you are safe, tell Joseph that I think of you as my own sister."
"No." Aria was very surprised when this word came out of Helen's mouth.
"What do you mean no?" she asked.
"I'm not escaping alone." Helen said. Aria sighed and held Helen's shoulders. "Helen, it's going to come to a fight as soon as I refuse to co-operate with them. Do you honestly believe you'll be much help? Plus, I won't be able to fight if I have to constantly worry about you. This is the best course of action." Aria said. She knew her words would hurt Helen, but she was better off hurt and alive, than fine but dead.
But Helen did not seem to be hurt as she nodded and said, "I'm bringing help as soon as I'm back."
Aria smiled and cupped her cheek, "The tunnel will help with that. Now come on."
Aria led Helen to the door of the room and stopped for a minute, checking. She nodded and whispered, "All clear." Just before she opened the door, Helen embraced Aria and whispered, "I'm not telling Joseph anything. You'll have to talk to him yourself."
Aria didn't reply as she opened the door and Helen flew out. Aria closed the door and stood leaning on it. Her wind bending was all over the house and she chose the secluded areas to lead Helen to the room where she had caused the earthquakes.
There, a tunnel appeared into which Helen went. It closed up as soon as Helen was out of sight. Aria let out a long sigh and immediately got to work. She pulled out stuffing from the bed and filled the clothes Helen had been wearing with it. She secured it with her own belt and arranged the clothes in such a way that really looked like Helen was asleep.
