As Aria raised her hand to finish them off, she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder and a whisper in her ear, "That's enough. You have done enough."
Aria blinked and turned around, as if waking from a dream. She saw Professor Thomas standing behind her with a hand on her shoulder. She looked at the four boys and then back at the Professor.
She said, "Umm..... I'm sorry Professor."
Professor Thomas shook her head, "Please don't be. I don't think I would have punished you even if you had lost control."
Aria: "But you stopped me."
"Because I didn't want you to have blood on your hands." Professor Thomas's whole frame shook as he said this. He seemed on the verge of losing control himself.
Aria turned to stare at the boys, "Then...."
Professor Thomas caressed Aria's head, "They will be punished. You can be sure of that. Now, I think you ought to make a trip to Miss Anhao. Professor Iris? Will you lead Aria?"
Professor Iris walked out from somewhere. Aria was sure that there were other teachers around. She said, "Why should I go to Miss Anhao? I am not hurt."
Professor Thomas: "Yes, I agree that you are not hurt child." "At least, not physically. And thank god for that." Professor added in an undertone, but Aria caught it.
She raised her eyebrows, "Professor? You think I was the victim of these scumbags?"
Professor Thomas frowned. That was what he had assumed.
Aria scoffed, "As if they could ever overpower me. No, it was not me."
Professor Thomas's frown deepened, "Then who was it?"
Aria looked down and said in a small voice, "Harper. Harper Collins."
Professor Thomas rubbed his chin, "Harper Collins? Harper? She is in the destructive power course, is she not? Professor Iris?"
Professor Iris nodded as she walked forward and glared at the four boys and said, "And miss Aria, where is Harper Collins now?"
Aria: "She is in my room. I made sure she was asleep before coming back here."
Professor Iris: "And may I ask why did you come here? Did you just happen to stumble across by chance?"
Aria did not like the tone that Professor Iris used. She said, "Before I answer, could I know why am I being investigated like I am the instigator of this incident?"
Hearing her response, Professor Iris turned and fixed Aria with a glare. Aria also did not back down, refusing to day anything unless her question was answered.
Professor Thomas interupted this face-off. He said, "I think I can answer for Aria, Iris. She probably got to know about what was happening the same way I did. Did you not, Aria?"
Aria tore off her eyes away from Professor Iris and looked at Professor Thomas, "Yes. I was using wind bending from the window of my room when I came across Harper tied to a tree. I also saw these four advancing towards her and came right away."
Professor Thomas nodded and turned towards Iris, saying, "I hope this answer satisfies you Iris. Because we have more pressing matters to attend to than stand here debating why Aria came here."
Professor Iris turned and walked towards the four boys. Aria wanted to follow, but she again felt Professor's hand on her shoulder.
