Aria walked out from the back of the line towards Professor Thomas.
He said, "Now Aria. You know all the rules, even if you were late and did not hear when I explained them."
Aria let out a guilty smile, "You saw me?"
Professor Thomas smiled, "I could never miss your head sneaking around. So, shall we start the fight?"
Aria nodded and the two of them stood five metres apart. They both closed their eyes as Aria began to water bend without using her hands, she knew all the sources of water around and could and would use that to her advantage.
Both Aria and Professor Thomas opened their eyes at the same second and the fight started.
The fight was amazing. It was on a whole different level than the first fight Aria had with Professor Thomas. They both were bending water like it was a second nature to them and were even taking control of the other's water.
Professor Thomas was moving at such a speed that it was impossible for most students to even watch properly, and Aria was actually keeping up with it quite nicely.
As they both disappeared in a big ball of water, Joseph, who was watching with the crowd, muttered, "Damn Aria. The first time you fought, the distance between us was closable. Now it is so much that all I can do is watch your back from a distance."
As he said this, Professor Thomas and Aria emerged.
Aria was clutching her elbow which seemed to have a cut and Professor Thomas's cheek had a deep slash.
As the two increased the distance to take a breath, Aria smiled, "You should have given me only internal injuries Professor. Making me bleed was a bad choice."
As she said this, Aria moved her fingers and her own blood formed into little sharp knives.
Some students who were watching such fights for the first time gasped and even one or two girls screamed.
"Tch. What do you accept to accomplish if you scream at the sight of blood." Joseph muttered as he eyed those girls with contempt before focusing his attention back on Aria.
Professor Thomas, upon seeing Aria's knives, also smiled and twirled his own hands. The blood that had rushed out of the slash in his cheek formed into needles. He said, "A word of advice. Make your weapons as invisible as possible."
"Point taken." Aria said as the knives rushed forward.
The next few minutes were very hard to describe as Aria and Professor Thomas began to fight hand-to-hand combat, all the while attacking and defending with their blood weapons. This resulted in both of them getting more scratches and cuts.
As Professor Thomas was focused on avoiding one of Aria's knives that was fiercely aiming for his right shoulder, he was suddenly hit by a strong wave of water from the left.
As he struggled with it, Aria quickly increased the distance between herself and Professor Thomas and took a minute to catch her breath. She was panting really hard by now and knew could not go in for much longer.
As she had expected, the wave came rushing over to her and she took control of it with ease and sent the water flying away.
