Aria was still really tired and incredibly sleepy.
She plopped down on the bed and fell asleep within minutes.
The next morning, Aria woke up to the sound of people arguing somewhere close by. As her mind became clear, Aria could make out the voice of Miss Anhao and Joseph.
Joseph was saying, "But Professor Iris told me in front of you that I could come meet her fist thing in the morning."
Miss Anhao: "It's not my fault she's still asleep."
Helen: "Can't you wake her up only for a few moments, I really want to meet her before we head off to breakfast."
Miss Anhao: "Understand my position dear. I cannot wake up....."
Aria spoke up, "And yet you did. With all that arguing."
The people came closer and Aria saw that along with the three Jacob was also with them. Aria tried to sit up but Miss Anhao stopped her, "Don't. You are on complete bedrest."
She then turned to the three kids and said, "Now that she is up, you can talk to her. But don't take too long."
As Miss Anhao left and the three took out stools to sit down around her bed, Aria asked, "What happened with the fight?"
Joseph slapped his forehead and said, "See the condition you are in. And you're worried about the fight?"
Aria pouted, "I was just curious."
Helen tucked a loose strand of her long hair behind her ear as she said, "Because of that fight, you are the talk of the academy."
Aria looked confused, "I am?"
Helen chuckled as she said, "Don't take that tone, you survived for a hundred and eight minutes against Professor Thomas. And it was your first fight too."
Aria: "And I ended up in here."
Helen: "Well yeah, that too. But the news about your time has spread throughout the academy and most people are awed, and Joseph here, is jealous."
"I'm not jealous.... it's just that I am able to survive only fifty-four minutes, and that too after a year here." Joseph turned his head away.
Helen chuckled, "And the most horrifying thing for him is..."
Joseph chipped in, "You stole my room!!!!!"
Aria was confused, she tilted her head, "I stole your room?"
Joseph: "Well you know, the rooms are given according to the time one has survived during the fight. And you did it more than me. So of course, you stole my room. The best room in all of the castle."
Aria: "You can have it back. I'm not really interested in these things." She had lived in a room of a princess, and she had also lived in a house that was the size of her previous room, so Aria really had no preferences when it came to rooms.
Joseph: "No. I will rightfully...."
But Aria had not heard his sentence. She had turned her head wondering why Jacob was so quiet, to see silent tears rolling down his face.
Aria was worried as she asked, "What's wrong, Jacob?"
Jacob shook his head as the tears continued to fall. Aria tried to lift her hand to wipe his tears, but immediately winced in pain. Jacob was on her left side and her left hand was not really in a good shape right now.
Hearing her, both Jacob and Joseph looked at her worriedly and began to lecture her.
