Chapter 22 - Tofu

The injury wasn't serious, but with the scrapes burned a bit, it really hurt. She managed to hold back her tears.

The owner of the dog finally caught up after seeing the trouble that his dog caused. He immediately grabbed the leash of the dog and temporarily tied it around a tree close by.

He ran towards the woman, planning on helping her up. 'Oh man, I hope this woman doesn't sue me or something. Her butt implants look expensive, so I hope she doesn't hold a grudge. She must've spent lots of money on them!' He thought to himself.

Xia Biming felt a strong pair of hands help her up and she looked up to see who it was. Ready to chew that person's head off for being irresponsible, she swallowed her words when she saw that it was Xue Changmin!

Xue Changmin was just as taken aback as Biming. 'Sh*t! Why do we always meet outside like this? Damn dog!' He was hoping her anger wouldn't pop the top off the bottle. He always heard about her rage from her brother.

"Biming? I'm so so sorry! Are you okay?" Changmin started apologizing profusely. He felt really awful. Worse than when he bumped into her and she got scalded with hot soup. 'I'm really making quite the reputation for myself.'

"What the hell is wrong with you?! Of course, I'm not okay! Who would be okay after a fall like that?!" Her fury got the better of her seeing who it was and thinking about how this would be the second time they met under such circumstances.

He could tell she was pissed off. "I'm really sorry, my dog ran off without me when I was tying my shoe! He happened to run straight to you and knocked you down. He doesn't mean any harm; he must've just smelled something good."

"That doesn't mean it's the dog's fault! It's the irresponsible owner's fault! How dare you put the blame on your dog?! If you can't lead the dog, then don't own one! Look at what happened!" She yelled at him and then showed him her scraped arms. "My side hurts too! How are you going to compensate me?!"

"Oh man, Biming, I really am sorry. Let me take you to a clinic and get it treated." He offered as he studied the scrapes on her arms. His eyes somehow wondered off and made their way to her heaving chest. They looked like they could barely fit in the sports bra.

'Why is she dress to provocatively just for a jog? Damn it, this is not the time to think about this!'

Noticing his perverted gaze, she continued to shout at him, "The injuries are not on my chest! They are on my arms! Don't tell me you can't even control yourself around a pretty girl." She untied her jacket and slipped it on to cover her chest. But due to the scrapes, she rolled the sleeves up past her elbows.

Biming saw that her water bottle had rolled off to the side of the trail and she went to grab it so she could wash the dirt off her arms. She bent over to pick it up, not realizing that Changmin was still staring. He stared right at her *ss and she bent over. Welp! That didn't help Changmin at all!

'So it turns out that she's natural… hehe… damn she looks so good even in exercise clothes.' He tried to avert his eyes but was caught by Biming before he could.

"What? Didn't get to stare enough at my breasts so you had to check the bottom region as well?!" Biming felt that she had made the wrong decision to jog this morning. Her happy morning turned sour so quickly.

"No! I wasn't! Here, let me help you wash your arms off and then I'll take you to the clinic, okay?" Changmin tried to dig himself out of his grave.

Biming was really starting to feel the ache of the fall and had no other choice than to let him help. "Where's your dog? Let me see which dog got stuck with an owner that has the same IQ as it."

Changmin couldn't help but stay quiet as Biming's sharp tongue continued to belittle him.

"He's over there, tied to the tree as his punishment." Changmin finished washing her arms and pointed his chin at the tree that he tied the dog.

Biming walked over to the dog and slowly got down into a squat while she let the dog sniff her hand before petting his head. The dog was a pitbull breed and she knew they could tend to be aggressive depending on how they're approached. Despite their bad reputation, she knew that they were big babies at heart.

The dog sniffed her and deemed her friendly before he started to lick her hand. The licks tickled her, and she let out a giggle before scratching his ears. Changmin couldn't believe the sight in front of him. Most girls are afraid of his dog but this one happened to tame it so easily.

He untied the dog and they made their way to the nearby clinic. Biming couldn't help but adore to adorable dog. "What's his name?"

"His name is Tofu. Since his fur is white, I named him Tofu."

"Tofu! What a cute name! I love it!" Biming's temper was doused with the cuteness of the dog. She petted the dog's head as they continued to walk towards the clinic.

"Biming, I hope you know that I feel really bad for happened. I didn't think Tofu was going to run off like that. He has never done that before." Changmin apologized again. He really did feel bad and didn't want Biming to view him in a bad light.

"I know it was an accident. But you should still more precautions. What if he ran into a weak old lady or a small child? They would have faced much more injuries than me from the fall." Biming was really worried for what if she wasn't the person Tofu had run into.

"Thank you for the apprehension. I will definitely not let it happen again." He was serious, he didn't wish harm on anyone else. They quickly reached the clinic and the nurse treated Biming.

They cleaned the wounds and applied an antibacterial healing lotion before adhering a bandage. The clinic was very friendly and offered Biming a pair of loose shorts to change into to allow the wound on her hip to not be further compressed.

Xue Changmin paid for the clinic visit as well as the ointment they used for Biming. She came out of the little patient room dressed in the loose shorts. Changmin couldn't take his eyes off her pearly white toned legs. 'No wonder she's got such a round backside. She looks like she's in such good shape.' He quickly deterred his vision and placed the ointment in Biming's eyes.

"Thank you. I guess I'll see you tonight for dinner." Biming said to Chang as she was getting ready to head home.

"No, please. Let me send you home. You can't walk in this condition. And I can't let an injured woman find her own way own." He guided her to his car that he called his driver for. Biming took his offer as her hip was still throbbing. It didn't really hurt but it was uncomfortable.
