Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Why Would God Allow it?

April 2, 2020 8:53pm:

Why do bad things happen to good people and why does God allow it?

Bad things that happen to us because of other people we shouldn't blame ourselves for nor God. God has given us agency to choose for ourselves and Him interfering with that would frustrate the eternal plan of happiness for us. Those that have wronged us will not go unpunished.

Like I said before, God will give you justice.

Things like cancer or for example a cancer of the mental compacities in us (schizophrenia) I suffer from. I don't blame God because I know He loves me and knows that I can handle this trial of life.

God gives us weakness to make us humble and God takes the weak things of the world to confound the wise. I think of my condition as a super power rather than a stumbling block. The mania I experience from schizoaffective disorder helps me with my poetry and coming up with ideas quickly.

Some of us don't like the way we look or how our bodies function. God promises us that we will all have perfected bodies in the next life and they are beautiful beyond comphrension. What short falls we have in this life will be made up in the next.

God wants us to be happy. It's said that all things will be made right in the end, so if things aren't right then it's not the end.

Remember when we are being corrected by the Lord and it seems that we are being cut down. The Lord is the gardener. He might not want you as shade tree or anything but a current bush. So at the end of this life when you are fully laden with fruit you will thank the gardener and say, "Thank you mister gardener for loving me enough to cut me down."

We may feel cut down at times in our lives but remember that we will be rewarded for enduring life's trials.
